There’s nothing wrong with their current ballpark. They could have put a roof on it for a fraction of the cost. The city of Arlington played the “They’ll move to Downtown Dallas” fear card and got their idiot citizens to vote for a third stadium in 20 years.

They explored adding a roof to current park, was not structurally possible.

Pretty pitiful that between this and the Frisco Classic LSU has yet to be scheduled.

I think the real problem is that LSU does not like to leave Alex Box even once a year.
I would like to see LSU schedule one of these every other year. Interleave with a Home and Home so that LSU plays away from Alex Box once a year just to get some road experience prior to the SEC schedule.

I would like to see something at SunTrust in Atlanta with LSU, UGA, Auburn against Georgia Tech, NC State and Clemson

Went to a few Braves game. This is an excellent idea.

Yes and everyone in DFW cant wait for it to open. Theyve done a great job with the area around it and its going to be a cool scene.

Plus like other have said, it has a roof. Didnt Atlanta do the same thing? There stadium was built same year as Rangers in 94. Who cares? its not our money and i get to sit in 72 degrees in the middle of July.

It will be very nice

Those gimmicks need LSU more than LSU needs them

No travel and play in front of a full Box instead

They also play at NSU this year. I would love to see them play at ULM and Tech but when you have the best ballpark in the country, you have no problem with teams wanting to come there. It would be nice to see them in a couple of big early tournaments or match-ups though

I've been to 3 Rangers games and they were all miserably hot.

Left early all 3 times because it was too damn hot to watch a baseball game I had no favorite team playing in.

Yep. Trust me everyone can’t wait for the new stadium.

I love when people bitch about stuff they didn’t pay for. Who cares. It’s gonna make the experience much better
