Reading posts here, doesn't look like Brick and steele are a good working combination.

104.5 thinks Brick is going to leave. Just someone's opinion but this is being suggested on more than just the rant.

Steele hired Brick as DC while at Baylor. Not sure if they had issues there, but doesn't seem to be the case.

Steele fired him. Supposedly they had words on the field after the Bama game this year. If he leaves, getting O on board could be the one small silver lining.

It is my understanding that Haley is up for consideration for the Cincinnati Bearcats DC job, the Texas A&M DL job, and two other DC jobs. The Steele announcement may have only hastened his intent to depart the program. I would not be surprised to see some other departures as well on defense either. Corey Raymond may have his feelers out right now as well.

Corey leaving would really hurt DBU

Raymond leaving would hurt, but we could could probably get Ron Cooper back from South Florida without breaking the bank. It would hurt recruiting, but if anything, he is a little better on the coaching side.

I really hope this doesn't happen. He had some big shoes to fill and IMO he's done so and with recruiting an even better DB coach than Cooper.

Oh well. Maybe Vandy has a special teams coach we can "steal".

There is a lot of chatter right now about Corey and actually has been for the last week. One rumor is that he may be taking a position with the University of Oklahoma because someone was retiring.

Ron Cooper is available as he was fired from USF last week. So yes we could get him for a song.

Funny thing is Chavis let Brick sign his extension. Then LSU hires Chavis' best friend Steele.
