I'm concerned with the lack of recruiting. While we are good now, I don't see LSU maintaining.

Less than 24 hours after one of the biggest win in 40 years and you come here with this shite?

Lets enjoy this season and win before we start micro managing the team for next year.

Yeah Wade’s lack of success on the recruiting trail thus far is worrisome...yep. Good point......

In the era of one and done, you're worried about 2 years from now?

Quality troll there.

But you're going to at least have Days, Cooper. Hyatt, Manning and Bishop on that team, plus a pretty good shot at having Emmitt Williams and Jevonte Smart as juniors.

That's a pretty damn good core of players.

Six additional scholarships to go with them with this staff recruiting, and it could be really interesting.

Jalen Cook and/or Reece Beekman will get 1 or 2 of those scholarships. It's possible you'll have Brian Thomas in that mix as well, and he'll be a Marlon Taylor type wing if he's not playing football.

First off, try posting on the board that actually relates to this subject matter.

Second, why are you worried about a recruiting class that is 2 years out, when this year's recruiting class isn't even finished.

Third, basketball recruiting does not work the same way as football. It is a little more fluid, and the vast majority of players don't even begin committing till less than a year out from when they can sign. So it is nothing to freak out over right now.

Fourth, while Wade may not bring in recruiting classes as highly ranked as last year on a year in, year out basis, he will still recruit solid classes that will maintain solid play and then continue to hit on big classes every now and then to really up the talent.

basketball recruiting is nothing like football. it's a lot easier for certain kids who are really good to go under the radar. there's a good chance we get 4 guards in the class who in my opinion are really good players: Lester Quinones 4*, James Bishop 4* (committed), Grant Sherfield 4* (just decommitted from UCLA), and Charles Manning Jr (JUCO Committed). If we manage to add Watford to that list, this is a damn good recruiting class. oftentimes, when you get a couple big recruits to commit, the ball can start rolling and others guys may start jumping on board who weren't expected to. just be patient, and remember this: Tennessee does not have a single top 100 recruit on their basketball team and they seem to be doing alright.

ETA: If you actually look at the guys who are considering coming here for the 2020 class. it has a HIGH chance to be the best basketball class we've ever had at LSU
