LSU has been great in the dome, no doubt. But Bama is too good to say that they have 0 chance. Although I do think LSU will win and it won't be as close as last time, you can never rule Bama completely out.

This is not a slight on Bama or Saban. It would be silly to downplay the achievements of the team and coach in the last five years.
It is just that Les is on a higher level when it comes to Bowl games,or almost any game after a long break.
Every coach has his specialty or talent - Les is a Bowl Game Rock Star as simple as that.

Where? LSU was outgained. Can't be more yardage. The only phase that scored for LSU was special teams. Speed of the kicked ball?

LSU is faster on both sides of the ball IMO. I just think Bama is stronger and more physical.
I've never seen as much speed on defense as LSU does this year. We have DEs that can run 4.5 40s.

I don't know about the speed aspect but in general a lot of phases of the LSU team were very good against BAMA.
LSU Rushing D? against a Heisman All world with Bama Rushing game plan that slaughtered everyone else?
LSU D in general that FORCED Saban to take a decision to go for 45-55 yard kicks in spite of knowing that the probability was very less - BECAUSE the O couldn't get past the 25 yard line and only once near the 19.
LSU O that did manage to get into the Red Zone multiple times.
LSU team in OT that totally smothered Bama in the 9 odd plays by both Os, Ds and STs.
