We should note that every round is started with a 0.00 score and new judges so UNLV didn't jump up 2 points. They got a higher score in the finals round by different judges. And UNLV is a hip hop legacy and their choreography is always top tier too. Even if you feel LSU should have been 1st doesn't take away that UNLV can fricking dance and they dance really good.
So I guess that LSU will need to allow dudes to join the Tiger Girls in order to compete with teams like UNLV in the future?

quote:No. LSU has won many times against teams with dudes. Ohio State has won the last 2 years of Jazz at UDA and has beat a team with one dude on it those last 2 years. In Division 1 - the team with the dude came in 2nd or 3rd (can't remember) and Memphis who has like 4 or 5 dudes came in 6th for Hip Hop.

I don't think you'll ever see a dude on either the Golden Girls or Tiger Girls dance teams.
I sure hope that you are 100% right. Seeing that dude with the flag team or the cheerboys in the NFL is sickening.

Maybe the tiger girl coach should consider taking more girls from the boot than out of state

My daughter dances for another D1 team, so I’ve been to nationals a couple times. Hard to see a clip of one dance and say they were the best. The level of talent at nationals is crazy good. With that said, college dance has become a big deal. LSU (and other power programs) recruit nationally just like all the other sports. It’s ultra competitive. And yes, they train hard, just like the other sports.
