In hindsight, they did her a favor. She can stay away from the Marxist/Communist hot bed. The wealthy are moving out, anyway.
Exactly...why would you want to live in a city where they'd want to tax the hell out of your hard earned money!

I was on the board of a fairly high end coop in Manhattan. With a few notable exceptions, those buildings' residents tend to not want celebrities who attract lots of media and groupie crowds hanging around outside the door.
Yoko Ono would agree with you.
Too soon???

Right over my head
True story: several decades ago I was in the Steinway House in Manhattan. I was admiring a pretty but oddly looking finish on a Bosendorfer piano. Salesman told me he had sold it to Yoko Ono. In the weeks before delivery, during the prep phase before delivery, Ono stopped by to show a friend her new piano. Unfortunately, the technicians had just that day taken the keys and action out of it for prepping. Ono freaked out, yelled they had ruined her piano, walked out and refused to pay or accept delivery. I don’t think she’s welcomed back there…
For anyone who does not know pianos, before delivery of a new piano, it must be “prepped” by making any final adjustments to the action, checking the sound board for cracks and making sure the finish is perfect. Deliver, then final tune 2 weeks later (or so). Anyone knowing anything about pianos would have known this and not acted like a fool.

IMO- It’s one or two things with the owners voting this way
1) they want to keep their building quiet and quaint. They don’t want 100 paparazzi sitting around their front entrance
2) Its their F-Shack complex. Again, see above.
