Still no questions about the game/LSU. Just U-Dub fans asking about depth charts, injuries, etc.

I asked him what he thought Rahim Alem might say to Jake Locker after he stuffs him into the turf on the first of many times. I don't think he's going to tell me.

Seems like the fans are pinning all of their hopes on this WR corps. I'm tempted to ask if the writer knows who Patrick Peterson & Co. are.

God. You can tell football isn't big up there like it is here.

It's like they totally lost track of football at their school since football season and they have NO idea what this season could look like.

I guess that happens when you go defeated?

Yeah, I find it odd that with 1 week until the first game, every post seems to be asking about depth charts, position battles, et. al.

Lots of them, and that is probably a question that deserves a more full answer in a separate entry, so I will try to get to that soon.

[Comment From Adam] With what you have seen thus far in training camp, do you think the Huskies have the talent to be competitive with LSU...or do you think it will take Husky players wanting to win for their coach, coupled with LSU overlooking the Huskies, for the Huskies to remain in the game?

quote:

No offense, but I think the winning for the coach kind of stuff is pretty overrated. I think it's an opening game and a new opportunity for a lot of players, so I don't think motivation and all of that will be an issue for either team, really. I think LSU is definitely more talented than UW and that its offense will score a lot of points. I think UW will need to score a lot of points to win the game and will have to take create and take advantage of mistakes by LSU. LSU has a QB making just his third career start and young QBs are obviously more prone to mistakes, so UW has to get some pressure on him and hurry up his decision-making. Offensively, they have to capitalize on every opportunity.

you guys are wasting your time. that dipship holds chat every 3 or 4 days and it's always the same lame, boring questions from the same fricktards who want to know how many wins, who is the starter at tailback and crap that nobody knows based on an 0-12 team coming off the worst coaching fraud in history.

we also try to hack the chat with inside joke user names. the writer caught on after the 2nd week.

He nailed it on the "running game" part of his next question.

I hope LSU lines up & runs straight ahead over & over & over & ...

Why? Pac-10 fans, other than SC generally, go to games to be seen, they don't follow college football per se
