I've been posting earlier today, but I just noticed this thread.

CptBengal, you are a dumbass.

However, I will give you a chance to redeem yourself. You have a choice:

(1) publicly acknowledge on this board your status as a moron, and you will not be a dumbass; or

(2) go to the Help Board and ask them if I am justustm2. If you are right that I am justustm2, then I will never post on this site again. If you are wrong that I am justustm2, then you will never post on this site again.

What is your choice, dumbass?

did you provide the answer to the question asked? Don't bother responding, we both know the answer.

The question asked was both incorrect (as we had no RB rush for 100 yards against UO) and irrelevant.

If we have one guy that rushed for 250 yards or three guys that rush for 250 yards, the total rushing amount is still 250 yards.

But, to answer your completely irrelevant question, twice last year we had to rushers gain over 100 yards individually - Tennessee and Texas A&M.

me thinks an attorney of your amazing stature would have better reading comprehension.

So wouldn't that make you the dumbass?

i rounded up by a couple yards :ohnoz!:

and irrelevant.

why?

would you like to talk about total yards from scrimmage? I think, just as JustClown found out that such an argument doesn't help JJ very much...but we can look at those numbers if you want.

6-10 on 3rd down, resulted in 4 first downs. including his td.

that's the difference from a year ago.

It would be if it were true. But as usual the true facts say something else. LSU converted 6 of 15 third downs for 40% All of last year LSU converted 70 of 184 for 38.04%.

yes they do.

all led by JL.

quote:

All of last year LSU converted 70 of 184 for 38.04%.

How many of those 70 successful conversions were JL and which were JJ?

The difference is that if one is statistically better than the other, the 2010 number may be inflated.

Or we can talk about the meaningless and absurdly small sample size of one game against a top 5 opponent versus the average across an entire season? Which way would you like to go...

Because regardless of how many backs we use, the sign of a powerful rushing game is total rushing yards.

Would you rather an offense that has one back that runs for 105 yards a game or an offense that has three backs who rush for a combined 280 yard per game?

quote:

would you like to talk about total yards from scrimmage?

We can.

Our offense against UO gained 273 total yards which is about 100 yards less than our average from last year (371.7 yards a game). We failed to gain 273 total yards three times last season - Mississippi State, West Virginia, and Auburn.

Add in the SEC including Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Florida and you have a deal. Now I will side with you on the meaningless and absurdly small sample size.

Like it? This is my new go to end phrase for all the race card players who claim all criticism for JJ is racial....I did it has an homage to your e-persona and undying support for JJ.

I was hoping you would like it.

I thought he could be....definitely an alter though. You claim he is not, but based on your legal "interpretations" over the last few weeks, I doubt anything you post is true.

He's not very bright.

He tries really hard to argue like a big boy, but he mostly comes off as a silly and harmless little dog. He's all bark and no bite. He is, however, extremely amusing. I love reading his posts.

2008 we had significantly more yards from scrimmage than 2009 or 2010.

your point?

Let me see if I can follow the irrational mind of a dumbass.

First, you deny thinking he was me:
quote:

and did I claim he was you?

me thinks an attorney of your amazing stature would have better reading comprehension.

So wouldn't that make you the dumbass?
Second, you try to explain it away:
quote:

I know your ego is irrationally large, but you aren't even the only lawyer posting in this thread.
Third, you try to rationalize and justify your erroneous conclusion:
quote:

quote:

JustStop
Like it? This is my new go to end phrase for all the race card players who claim all criticism for JJ is racial....I did it has an homage to your e-persona and undying support for JJ.

I was hoping you would like it.
Fourth, you realize that you can no longer deny your dumbassery, but you still try to justify it:
quote:

I thought he could be....definitely an alter though. You claim he is not, but based on your legal "interpretations" over the last few weeks, I doubt anything you post is true.

You are fricking hysterical. I am laughing my arse off.

Yes, in most cases.

quote:

2008 we had significantly more yards from scrimmage than 2009 or 2010.

I wouldn't say significantly.

2008:

Total - 4785 Total yards; 5.4 yards per play

Passing - 2617 passing yards; 6.7 yards per attempt

Rushing - 2168 rushing yards; 4.3 yards per attempt

2009:

Total - 3969 total yards; 5.1 yards per play

Passing - 2363 passing yards; 7.0 yards per attempt

Rushing - 1596 rushing yards; 3.6 yards per attempt

2010:

Total - 4461 total yards; 5.3 yards per play

Passing - 2023 passing yards, 6.7 yards per attempt

Rushing - 2438 rushing yards; 4.5 yards per attempt.

Best rushing offense was 2010. Best passing offense was 2009. Best overall offense was statistically 2008, but it was only .1 yards per play better than 2010.

This, of course, doesn't take into account the circumstances each offense played under. 2008 got to play from way down five times in 2008. 2009 and 2010 never played from behind by more 14 points.
