They're a 4-5 loss team this year and won't be fvcking top 15 anytime soon.

But if they win out they will be.

USCe over Florida

UNC over Va Tech

Georgia over the Newtons.

Cal vs Oregon.

I am not pulling for Notre Dame, even though its Utah.
I want to see Notre Dame fall. I want to see Kelley fired.

Wisconsin loss would help as well but doesn't look like that's going to happen.

If we and Bama both win out then yes, there would be a three way tie but they won't jump us in the BCS rankings.

All that needs to happen is for auburn to get beat by bama (which i think will happen) Oregon to lose by either zona or oregon state. The who ever the east champion is will have either 3 or 4 losses, so even if auburn wins it won't be enough of a quality win to jump us, since we would have been voted ahead of them already.

This is wrong. If you think LSU would remain ahead of Auburn if they lose to Bama and then win the SECCG, you must not have been paying attention in 07. LSU lost the last game against Ark, dropped to 7 behind UGA and VT, then jumped them after winning the SECCG.

If Auburn loses to Bama and wins the SECCG, the voters will absolutely put them back ahead of us.

So you hate Notre Dame more than you love LSU?

Retarded logic. Go Irish (today).

This is wrong on so many levels.

And everyone keeps on ignoring Nebraska/Ok State. If they win the Big 12 at 12-1 and LSU finishes 11-1 and 2nd place in the west, they probably jump us. Same for Wisconsin.

Matt how much does Utah getting killed at ND and a potential UNC over VT help us out versus TCU in the computers (assuming we win the SECCG)?

Is this enough to tilt the "50/50" you talked about (LSU SEC Champs 12-1 v's undefeated TCU) into our favor?

You know, I am starting to think that if we win the SEC we are almost a lock to finish #1 in all the computers (even over Oregon) no matter what at this point. Utah's loss (and maybe a UNC win) would help solidify that but it really might not matter.

That would give us at least a 2 spot lead in the computers over TCU (#1 LSU, #2 Oregon, #3 TCU, #4 Boise) meaning we would just need to be within one spot of TCU. If Boise lost, that should be a lock, but if they didn't TCU could have enough of a cushion in the human polls using Boise as a wedge.

Now Utah losing could help because it may allow teams like Nebraska, Wisconsin, or even 2-loss AU to be above them in the computers giving us cushion in the computers.
