Hill was wrong, but lets not act as if he needs some type of serious punishment for throwing a punch the full why of we don't know.

I don't see anyone reasonably defending criminal behavior or saying that what Hill did was right. People are determining whether or not it warrants probation revocation for a misdemeanor crime and whether or not it warrants removal from the team.

Based on Hillar going hands off and letting his assistant DA file a motion to revoke his plea deal...him serving the time for his original indiscretion may be a real possibility.

considering he was already on probation...it certainly does.
Sadly, probation was him getting a second chance. He chose to sit in the eye of the DA.

Excused? No one is saying what he did was right or that it wasn't chicken-shite. But lets don't get silly here. If he wasn't a football player he wouldn't have even been picked up. I won't touch the color of the skin comment.

Of course it's a possibility. Hillar is just following the book. However, it's also a possibility that I hit the lottery Wednesday. The odds might be better for the lottery than Hill seeing jail time.

There is no cure for stupid and anyone thinking the thing we need to do is to send a guy in college getting an education and maybe moving on to a good career to prison for throwing a punch in a fight that harmed no one, well, thats about as stupid as it gets and that includes any judge who would do it.

My problem is that he thought it was okay to inject himself into a fight between two guys and take advantage of a guy that was clearly dazed. Again, if Hill and some guy just got into an argument and started fighting, it's just a completely different setup. I just don't know man, I just hope it doesn't become a looming distraction to the team. That's not how we want to start a season.
