Me and my buddy have been lifelong LSU fans and are first time season ticket holders this year, and also first time tailgaters. Was looking for a good spot or recommendations. thanks in advance!

My suggestion is to buy a parking pass off the ticket exchange and tailgate there.

I would suggest starting out in the free areas this season. Specifically, around the law school or on Dalrymple across from the fraternity houses or off Burbank near the old golf course. The location depends on where you are coming from (south of campus or north of campus) and where you need to go after the game. Lots of tailgating activities and free spots in those areas. As you get back into the swing of tailgating, find areas inside of Highland Road, but you will have to pay an access fee to get around the parade grounds through the Highland Road/Dalrymple traffic light corner. There are very few reserved spots inside that area, but be respectiful of those that have tailgated in the same spot for years. Just my 2 cents worth. Enjoy.

Without one, the places to park for free and experience tailgating are few and far between.

I believe he was too sorry to type out “looking for”. Best guess.

Get out there early and park in the old Kirby Smith parking lot on Alaska St. and tailgate out there.

You can buy tickets for some tailgates, but imo tailgating in the parking lot is kind of boring- or maybe I just never found any that were really fun. Much rather party around the PMAC with the ability to cool off inside whenever
