Hate to tell you buddy, but the point isnt wrong.
You may not like it.. but it isnt incorrect.

It's called due diligence buddy. You said LSU can't have a player on the team charged with a felony. And I pointed out that scenario has already played out. Ryan Perriloux was charged with a felony for presenting a fake id and he was still on the team while his case was proceeding.

I don't have that library in my account. Please point out the statute and a reference to the charges. I simply do not remember.

Is attempting to enter a casino treated the same as attempting to buy alcohol or a firearm?

Let me amend my original post. He was charged with criminal misrepresentation and was suspended in may, but reinstated before preseason workouts. he was also was suspected of counter-fitting money(federal offense) and got in a bar fight. Even after all this he was still with the team until he failed a drug test. This is JJ's first incident ever.(I think he, JJ that is, got a bum wrap from BRPD more than LSU. fwiw)

Fine, but the point you're missing is, once a player, better termed, student, is actually charged with a felony, it's no longer up to the coach. You can point to RP all you want, but it's simply not the same.

Perilloux was charged with a felony. Criminal misrepresentation is a felony. Also considering he was the subject of a federal counterfeit investigation and he had been in a bar fight previously. Like I said, it is more BRPD for bringing the charges they brought and the handling of the case, but LSU still has a part in the injustice.

there are countless examples of student athletes participating in ncaa during after being arrested. Even the LSU student athlete handbook has a disclaimer for each case being handled on an individual basis. Kevin Faulk was arrested for battery of a police officer and never missed a game for it. If LSU really wants to reinstate JJ they can. Fortunately we have a 5th yr Sr back up with experience that takes the pressure off, but if something like an injury to JLee occurred you would see LSU reevaluating the jj situation.

Big difference between being charged and being investigated. Also a huge difference between kicking a dude when he's on the ground and a fake Id. Please tell me you understand this.

Can LSU allow Jefferson to play under the regulations of the NCAA? Yes, there are no NCAA or LSU regulations which prohibit this action.

Should LSU allow Jefferson to play? That's LSU decision and, given the circumstances, I don't think Miles or LSU deserves criticism either way.

I thought his label at that time was, "a person of interest"?

Is "he had been in a bar fight" the same as facing a felony due to a bar fight?

I question some moves by the BRPD, but they didn't bring the charges against anyone and they would have been kicked under the bus by some no matter what they did cause some think they have things figured out and always will.

Plus, some just just wanted JJ gone. imo

How were non of the other players witnessed in the melee?

If it was 50 players there, and 15-20 were involved in the fight

*of those 15-20, 4 were identified as 2 people who will never see the field, a true freshman yet to see the field, and just about the most recognizable man in BR, hmmmm something doesn't add up.

how could nothing have come up in the week since both jj's had been booked? Why isn't the media digging in left and right like they were prior to the booking? This was all the rage about a 10 days ago when shite was coming up every couple of hours.
