Pressure on the QB will be the key to the secondary’s success.

IMO this is it. Our front 7 (or 6 when in nickel) will be the story of this defense. I think it's wide open who could be the playmaker in the secondary. Harris has the talent. Brooks and Burns have shown flashes. Chestnut did it in the ACC.

S - Brooks, Burns, Ryan, K Jackson, Langlois (or Toviano) or 2 transfers
CB - Harris, Chestnut, Johnson, Toviano, Alexander, Welch
N - Johnson, Toviano, Alexander or Ryan

Why, your leading tackler from the returning guys Penn is back. You went got one of best LB’s from another school, a starter. With House as LB Coach and DC, why would you worry?

Depth is a big concern.

The Weeks brothers can play. The thing is with down and distance, at times, you might only have two on the field at times. You have 10 LB’s on the roster. With House being the DC and LB Coach, I think if he thought we needed more, he’d bring in more.

It’s a big unknown. Thank goodness we got so many guys from the portal. This group could potentially be really good if we keep everyone health. I just don’t know how well they will perform together.
