is this our best softball team ever?

It's the best offensive team we've had in some time.

Howard Dobson has done a remarkable job getting the girls to buy into his new hitting scheme and it's paying huge dividends. Maybe CPM could borrow him.

LSU has finished as high as number three in the past.

I don't think the pitching is going to measure up at WCWS for this team. Too inconsistent in a tournament when you have to execute in all phases to win.

I agree with this, although if Wickersham and Sunseri can continue to build on what they did this weekend and get hot to end the year. LSU will be in great shape. Wickersham overall has been fine and for a true freshmen has been great. Sunseri still is dealing with some bruising to her wrist but is getting healthier. Both looked great this weekend.

The key factor moving forward is Gorsuch. She has to get it together by the end of the year if LSU wants to make a run, specifically to compete in the CWS.

Kilponen will likely see a couple more starts to end the year and will only be used in relief this post season for a change of pace in the circle.

I believe the hitting is good enough to carry LSU to Oklahoma City. How far they move in that depends on what pitching shows up. The talent and potential is there. Hopefully they can get some consistency to end the year. All that matters is they are playing their best ball when it counts, and torina has been special with making that happen at the end of every year.

Probably because hardly anyone cares. Just saying what 99% of us are thinking.

They averaged about 2000 in attendance for each game of the 3 game series, so those people cared. And quite a few people on here care. And I don't think any of us were "thinking" hardly anyone cares.

Sounds like you are the dipshit here, not us.
