Unless he is really missing on recruits or developing them, this holds some truth.

I may stray from the discussion a little, but this reminds me of Alabama's 2010 post season conversations. That team was supposed to be the greatest of all UA teams...loaded, seven or eight eventual first round NFL picks, almost all skill positions returning, you name it. And we lost three games by a total of eighteen points, including the most embarrassing loss conceivable to Auburn. Still makes me sick. The next year, with arguably less talent, Alabama won it all. LSU may have problems to solve with its offense, but I have no doubt that they will figure it out. Mett has real potential, and you have the stable of running backs and WRs that can make a difference. Look forward to another great game with you next year.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone would vomit out the overall record.

Losing 3 out of 4 of your last bowl games does not deserve a raise and an extension.

Being able to recruit but not able to develop the talent does not make you a good coach. It makes you a good salesman, not a good coach.

When Towson players and Clemson defensive coaches are disrespecting and making fun of our offense, then its beyond the point of denying and addressing the issue on offense yet Miles continues to do so.

Miles is taking advantage of your loyalty.

Mediocrity? At this point we are the 3rd best team in the SECW. If that isn't mediocrity to you, then maybe my standards for LSU are just a bit too high, especially considering the talent this staff has to work with.

That's some interesting math you're using to come to that conclusion.

Sounds like LSU's 2006 season.

Problem right now is we have gone through half a dozen QB's and are still blaming the QB. Obviously the problems aren't with the QB.

You're right. Many of us just need to lower the bar. Doing less with more should be accepted and rewarded.

if you're valiantly trying to defend "coach" les miles, then it's you that's ignorant.

Miles right there showed that he had absolutely no concept of time management during a football game.

OK, I'll play: check out SECCG this year, end of 1st half. Saban got in scoring range, 3 TO's left, INEXPLICABLY didn't use them for about nearly 2 total min. running off clock, then called one and missed a long fieldgoal, went to halftime w/ no points and two wasted timeouts in pocket.

Announcers dogged him, (he did admit it was his screw-up at halftime interview).

Had Ga scored there at end of game, Saban clock mgmt. could very well be cited as responsible for loss, but b/c Ga ran out of time, everyone talked about Richt's clock mgmt., and not Nick's.

THe virtues that we appreciate, we to some extent appropriate.

I'm not sure I understand how much money Miles makes has anything to do with whether his game day decisions on offense are intelligent. But I guess I am just not intelligent enough to understand the relationship. Of course I have never understood one word of Miles convoluted explanations of wny he makes the decisions he does either.

the same reason Saban didn't have the same success at Michigan State. And if you look at OK State's record going back 10 years before he got there...he pulled that team out of the gutter.
