He's awful at recruiting, hates doing it, and is a huge pain in the arse to deal with. I can't imagine him coming back here because the school has plenty of people around that remember what it was like to deal with that diva frick.

Miles would never hire Pelini back. The only reason Pelini would come back would be to weasel himself into the HC job.

Depending if you are saying he is getting one this year? He's stated numerous times that he wants to be a head coach. So, why would LSU promote him? When he gets the head coaching offer that he wants, he will leave. Why offer a DC that might be around for a year. Not sure LSU wants to be looking for another DC so soon.

NO way. Pelini's defenses in those bowl games when he was here was stifling.
As to the OP -- no, Bo is not a good recruiter. He is a horrible speaker and he's not very nice to begin with. Nevertheless, dude can coach up some defense.
