I was talking about in the sec. But ur right what does it matter, even when we get good recruits like russel sheppard we turn them into flops. Bama may be right there with us but florida, auburn, and georgia? Nope sorry

No they're not. Otherwise we would be looking for a coach. I swear our fans get dumber by the day.

You know what's ridiculously good fortune?

-- Getting to avoid all of the 10-win teams in the SEC East while you're biggest rival had to play two of them in their two cross-divisional games.

-- Having your permanent cross-divisional rival, one of the historic powers of the SEC, have losing season four of the last five years. Making your schedule that much easier.

-- Losing a game in November two straight years yet still find a way into a championship game (BCS or SEC) despite the loss.

People complain about Miles' good fortune but Jesus... Saban has a horseshoe shoved so far up his arse its amazing. That's not Process, it's luck. And easy schedules while LSU plays the hardest schedule possible under SEC rules.

one day i'll find somehting football related to not agree with baloo about. but today is not that day.

so then if he does as good a job as Les, you'll bitch about the next guy too? got it.

However, one could argue that a good 6 to 7 of those wins could have a "what are the odds" asterisk by them.

So?

What is irreplaceable about Miles?

Other than his bowling move. I don't think anyone can top that.

Seriously, who do you thing LSU could get that is better? I can only think of about 5 coaches that could arguably be considered better than Miles and I don't think any of them would come here without a 20%+ raise. So seriously, who you got?

That was his first game in Tiger Stadium. You honestly mean to tell me you don't think he was A LITTLE nervous? You guys will literally look for ANYTHING to crush this dude over.

I'm jot asking for a NC every year. And even when we do play for one, I'm not expecting an automatic W. but I do expect our coach to have the team as prepared as they can be and to put up a good fight (which didn't happen last year) sure, we could've played lights out and bama could've still beaten us. I could've lived with that. But that's far from what actually happened

Yep. So, now what?

I think my dad tried to go through the TV to strangle him when that happened.

Might want to take a gander at recruiting rankings.

And while we may be talented, we were extremely young and inexperienced this year.

What position group where we much more talented than the rest of the SEC?

QB - nope
RB - maybe
WR- nope
OL - nope
DL - maybe
LB - nope
DB - nope

This is like a doctor who doesn't understand how to work the machines he uses to perform surgery...

lets look at 04, the year AFTER winning the bcs title with prob th emost talented team in the country and a future #1 pick not starting at qb.

22-21 against oregon state. Kicker never missed a fg after this game, should have been an lsu loss.

9-10 against aub. shitty loss

45-16, got blown out by uga.

24-21 aginst uf, could have been a loss

24-20 against troy. Hmm seems familiar doesnt it?

27-24, should have lost to ol emiss

25-30, had no businees losing to iowa in the wanning seconds as saban rides off into the sunset forcing LSU to hire a new coach in the first place.

That's a really low percentage. I would think more like 20% of the 85 and if you look around the same can be said for every coach. So, now what?

Yikes. Hate to think what your balance sheet looks like if you don't think everything has it's price.

Because it would be extremely unpopular to fire a coach after a 13 and 10 win season. I have never once said we should fire Les Miles.

Every national recruiting site disagrees with your dumbass.

Our class was ranked #18 last year. and thats the highest we were ranked by any of the sites. Just stop posting.

wile pussies like your were screamin over how bad the class was, us "sunshine pumpers" saw it for what it was. A class the met needs. And with frehsman starting at rb, ol, lb and cb. We were rt.

Well fck thats basically what yall are saying, we cant win it every year but we should have won it this year too. When we played bama we were a better team then them. Our coaches lost that game for us, and lost our chance to play in the nc

Let's agree to disagreeIt seems to me there is a large group of the fanbase that is content with 2-3 loss seasons and top ranked non-BCS bowls

you have mislabeled your opposition. it is not black and white like you want to portray. sorry. there are no fans that are "content" with 2-3 loss seasons and non bcs bowls. just because they aren't in the fetal position with a thumb in their mouth you call us content. your label ain't sticking to me, bud, and i challenge your right to declare groups of people content.

speaking for myself, i judge les miles on his total body of work, which includes good and bad and expectations for the future. i also judge les miles on the quality of his leadership toward the young men representing LSU in the purple and gold uniform on and off the field. i also judge les miles on his graduation rate and his disicipline toward our players. i say OUR PLAYERS because to me they are; THEY ARE FELLOW LSU STUDENTS. they deserve more than some coach that only cares about NC's and they damn sure deserve more than fans that only care about NC's.

you aver to be such a "fan". i have no respect for you. if you are a student at LSU i think you should transfer somewhere else. i bleed LSU. yes, LSU football but LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY. you know, the college.

Who said anything about a fcking recruiting class? Im talking about players this year who started. We had a lot of talent this year that went to waste. Can you at least agree with that?
