Saban left him loaded, and Fisher was coaching JR and Flynn. Fisher had three or four years with the team.
See the difference.

You shouldn't "send" your kid anywhere. Kid should choose school....plus does where your kid go determine who you're a fan of?

O was in control of shaping and creating that roster.

Honestly, who would you rather recruit and coach you a roster of quarterbacks, Cam Cameron or Jimbo Fisher? In addition, "O" had to recruit against the anchor, Miles.
I'll ask you, if you were the top rated WR or QB in HS would you consider signing with Les Miles?

Saban players aside, the key is that was pre-milescuffed Jimbo's offense.

This BS needs to stop.

I am one of coach O's biggest critics but the recruiting coordinator since 2015 BS needs to stop.

He was hired in mid Jan of 2015.

That gave him half a month until signing day.

Coach O has only really been responsible for 2 LSU classes. And the players from those classes are playing but young.

In Les' 11.33 seasons he had 7 games in which his team scored 10 points or less and lost.

Orgeron has had 3 such losses through 11 games.

Miles got Narcisse and Miles Brennan, both of whom initially decommitted when Les was fired.

The one season Cam had a QB the offense was nearly unstoppable.

Even with Les supposed handcuffs, the offense was never as bad as it's been under Orgeron.

They played two teams with top-80 defenses and scored 10 points combined.

Les had 7 losses in which his team scored 10 or less in 11.33 seasons. O has had 3 in 11 games.

In 27.27% of his games as LSU's coach his team has scored 10 or less and lost.

Miles didn't even lose 27% of his games total as coach at LSU counting all losses.

Oh ok... It's coach O's fault that the other defenses sucked that they set multiple records against... I get your point though...

Can't a first year coach make a mistake and lose a game, move forward and correct the mistakes? Why don't we give the man a chance and see what happens. The season isn't over yet.

So we can get a full comparison, why don't you post Saban's record at Michigan State and O's record at Ole Miss and we will see how they stack up. TIA.

I agree that O didn't make the schedule. That said, look what LSU did against Texas Tech under Miles. Even Miles-coached teams could drop 50 on defenses the likes of last year's Southern Miss and Missouri teams.

Ok that's one game over 11 plus years... look at all the other crappy defenses Miles faced and barely scraped out a win.... there were many....

it's not Orgeron's fault that those defenses sucked, but other than the wins against Louisville and Southern Miss, LSU's wins came against teams that were ranked 75th, 90th, 111th, and 118th in total defense.
