i didnt read the whole thread, but Miles is 2-7(.222 win %) vs UF, BAMA, Miss St, and Arkansas the last 2 seasons.

if that doesnt put him in the hot seat, nothing will.

Miles will not be fired at LSU unless he starts having losing season(s)
so you think he could go 7-6 for the next 2 or 3 years & keep his job? you cannot be serious. not when you pay a man 4 mill. a year.

Out of all the LSU haters, you take the cake.

Miles was considered a questionable hire and after just a few years of his coaching sinking in it's apparent we're on a downward trend. IMO if he wins 8 games this year he's safe, but if he only wins 7 or less than that he'll be gone.

How soon everyone forgets Alleva's open letter to the fans. He characterized a 5-3 record in the SEC as not good enough for LSU and most would agree. 8-8 over two years is good for Vandy but a collosal underachievement at LSU.

Miles' sights should be set on Atlanta for the title game, not 9 wins and 3 conference losses. Alabama and Florida have raised the bar and Miles has not demonstrated that he can keep up now that Saban and Meyer have fully implemented their systems.

This is one guy's opinion and you know what they say about those. He is most definately on the hotseat. LSU would have no problem finding a top flight coach. Are you kidding me?

The names previously mentioned: Butch Davis, Del Rio, Gruden, Saban would have to be considered as well. Lots of possibilities. Les Miles isn't the only person qualified for this job.

I guess some fans are okay with losing 4-5 games a year every year while paying the coach 4 million.

We can watch Florida and Alabama play for the bcsncg every season from now on.

Oh what fun!

both USC and Tennesee had hard times getting coaches

This is what I keep coming back to. UTe, imo, caught a good, young, up and comer, but not sure how their alums feel. Kiffen was questionable for them, and surely is for the Condoms. I certainly wouldn't want to run Les out of here and end up with someone who has never been successful anywhere in his limited time in charge. And that should have been a plum job opportunity too.

Jesus Christ...it was freaking LOUISIANA TECH!!!!!!! in no way, shape, or form should La. Tech come in to Tiger Stadium and threaten LSU. LSU has FAR superior athletes..... and FAR, and i mean FAR, inferior coaching. PERIOD! it's absolutely unbelievable how you people continue to make excuses for Miles.
