Okay, again from an Alabama fan, and by the way I really enjoy the board and respect the LSU fans for what that is worth coming from a Tide fan, anyway off topic...we love Saban and I get that most of you hate him...that said, is Les Miles really the messiah of SEC football coaches? Again, he's a really strong coach, but how much, honestly, of this season is due to coaching? I would say a good bit...now go ahead and bash me and explain why I am wrong. Again, much respect...hate the game, not the poster.

its due to having a freshman qb and we're still looking at a new years day bowl

we had a season similar to this in 2004 with a Senior QB and a RS Freshman QB (Russell)

I'm a little confused by your tactics, so I'm gonna keep acting tough until I figure it out...

confused by my tactics? what tactics? Just posting a reasonable question....there was a time when Mike Shula was a strong coach too...I think thats comparing apples to walnuts here but I think its reasonable to say that Miles inherited alot of talent hes a great recruiter and college players thrive on emotion...Saban and Spurrier use that but failed miserably in the pros because you get to a point where emotion equates to smoke and mirrors...

Miles isn't nearly the football coach Saban is, but there are other parts of the job where Miles excels and Saban does not.

And I was quoting Ricky Bobby... I had no desire to answer your question that has been asked and answered 12,345,657 times.

Nick is a workaholic. Bama probably got the best coach that money could buy.

I feel pretty confident in saying Urban Meyer and Saban are the 2 best coaches in the conference. It's another reason I'm excited about the SEC champ. game, it will be the first time the 2 square off.

Meyer is a lot like Saban but offensive minded.

Look just because Alabama needs a messiah to resurrect their program from the dusty clutches of a dead bear, this does not mean that LSU automatically needs one too. We are doing just fine, and when we get our QB situation straightened out the rest of the country is going to be pissing their pants.

You mean "A year"?

Miles isn't a flash in the pan like Shula was- he's been a consistent winner.

I would put Les Miles ahead of Urban Meyer...both good coaches, but somethings missing in Meyer...and I wouldn't put Saban that far ahead of either mostly bc I am an Alabama fan...I guess my question is kissed....I don't watch that much LSU football, because hey guys, guess what, Alabama fans tend to watch the Tide rather than watching LSU, so I really was asking how much Miles is to blame for the losses.
