5-3 while here. Including multiple BCS wins.

I'll take his winning percent over the last 9 years.

It is 5-3. That includes some pretty damn good bowl games too. You are a fricking moron. Good day.

Until I looked at the Play Makers on the 07' team. Those Top Players were not recruited by Miles. So that lends to the credibility of Saban's Staff, not Miles.
Then why does Les Miles have a better record at LSU with Saban's recruits than Saban ever did at LSU with Saban's recruits?

Yes it is. I think there are two active coaches who have more national titles than he does and four who have more BCS bowl wins than he does.

Here comes the "Saban had Dinardo's crappy players" argument. There's no point in continuing this nonsense, IMO.

What!? No Way Dude!

I like Miles man.

I just hear this Saban's Recruits argument all the time. Then when you look at it from the 08 Season it sort of makes sense.

But if we lose another Post Season Game,
it doesn't exactly scream "He's AWESOME".

I hope we whip the dog snot out of Iowa. I think Jennings will play great but will not likely be unleashed.

I'm not a naysayer, I'm just trying to figure out who Miles is. If we lose to Iowa what does that mean? Etc etc.

Just talking it out folks. You know chit-chat football talk. I'm not pessimistic, but I'm just not confident on what exactly do we have in Miles at the Helm.

He's coached over 100 games at LSU, won a national title, and won two SEC titles. Why are you so slow to figure out who he is?

Maybe I'm surrounded by too many Miles haters.

I seem to have to defend him aroud my co-workers a lot.

But the last few years post-season stings.

Then why do you list the bowl game as a loss already?

The 2011 regular season was proof enough for me that Les is a top 3 coach in the county. LSU beat Bama (at their house), the Rose Bowl champ, the Orange bowl champ, and the regular SEC slate to go undefeated. Please let me know if you find a team/coach with that kind of success with that schedule. I'll hang up and listen. Les is the best thing to happen to LSU. Period.

Right. After editing several times. You still finished your post off with a nice:

I love everything about that season....except one day.
It is hard to look at that season and see all the GREATNESS when that last game was just so sickening.

But I understand and agree with your point of course. How could anyone not?
Plus understanding why/how we loss....sigh...

It was a big freaking deal to the one win/loss that had to be added.

However if we drop the game against Iowa then what's the difference? That was the point.

Not big deal towards the win/loss but towards the overall.

Then you're a pessimistic sad sack. That season was incredible. And it's not hard to remember the first 13 games.

LOL Dude I'm not sad at all. lol

But do you not think about what could have been?

I guess thinking more about what WAS is some folks perspective but c'mon.
Just thinking about what if, doesn't make me pessimistic.

I mean how dare I say, yea but what if we'd won. That ain't fair dude. :D

Of course I think about what could have been. But there is a whole lot that actually was.
