Does Les just suddenly become an offensive guru when a QB with a quick release gets in?

Cam Cameron is the offensive guru moron. Do you really think Miles is coaching the quarterbacks?

Something Fournette said about coaches wanting them to get more than 300 yds.(rushing)tells me the 'coaches' had agreed upon a offensive scheme which would enable this to occur. If that is part of a CC offense then the answer is no.

Did you see what the offensive play calling was like with Jennings at QB?? It was the exact same its been with Jennings all year.

For some reason, Les was adament in having Jennings as his QB, even though its been obvious that he doesnt have the arm or accuracy to allow us to spread it out and throw the ball. And Les is content with that because he can run the style of offense that he always runs.

With Harris, its a different story. He has the talent and ability to beat teams with his arm and the passing game. Anyone can be the QB for a Les Miles ran offense. But not every QB can sling it around to be an effective passer in a vertical passing attack offense. Jennings skillset, or lack of, restricted our offense which forced it t be so run heavy and 1 dimensional. Harris skillset allows us to open it up and spread it out and run that vertical passing attack that Cam Cameron is known for.

The biggest issue about the whole thing is that Jennings was our QB, even though we knew he cant throw the ball worth shite and forces our offense to become 1 dimensional which changes the play calling. And it was Les that was so adament on Jennings being our QB. It was obvious that Harris had the best arm and best passing QB on our team. But Les wanted someone that wasnt as good to be our QB so he can implement the same ole 1 dimensional, run heavy Les Miles offense.

It wasnt the play caling that was the issue, because if we ran the spread vertical attack of Cameron with Anthony Jennings we would have been worse that what it was. The offense was called due to the QBs skillset. And Jennings has a shitty skillset. Thats the problem. Les wanted our QB to be a guy that isnt able to be a complete QB / legit passing QB and forces us to be 1 dimensional offense, instead of a QB that give us the ability to spread it around, be a much more complete and balanced offense, and actually have a legit / somewhat complex offensive system.

It makes 0 sense why Jennings was our starter. Especially when you consider our offensive skill players and how good they are. The 1 thin Jennings does that is above average is that he throws a nice deep ball touch pass. Thats it. But, at the same time, thats what he would look for everytime and would lock on Dural. When D took that away, Jennings couldnt do shite.

I think moreso it was an issue of Cam playing the cards he was then holding when Harris went in.

The calls for Jennings were more conservative to minimize the odds of his making mistakes. After the first quarter, I think they just decided to put the other kid out there, take the wraps off of him and see what he could do. He did.

That said, Jennings is one injury away from being back on the field. I am sure he learned a few things last night and will this week. I do like that he was a lot classier about the switch than "JJ" ever was.

Handcuffing? Really? You're going to have to get over this whole notion that Miles runs the offense. He has delegated that responsibility to Cam. Cam wouldn't put up with being "overruled" on play calls, QBs in the game, etc. These are mutually agreed upon schemes and even who is running the plays.

The intent was to put Harris in all along. But, the guy who can call the play, read the defense and check down is the QB you want (Of the two, its Jennings at this point). Unfortunately, However, Harris is overall a better QB, but notice on every play he did a check with me. Why? Because Harris needs the OC to read the defense and then call in the play. (Its not as extreme as it sounds, but it works for now), Harris will have fits when he plays defenses that change looks or shift just before the snap. Just my two cents worth of musing on the topic.
