So, who's our new HC going to be now that we've freed up some money?

He has a job locked in and wants some money before he signs... makes sense for LSU because we pay it, and it's done. We don't have to worry about his job falling through.

Agree he can take another job and make more money instead of it offsetting the LSU buyout.

There could be some other items in there we don't know about regarding benefits and such.

Anyway, looks to benefit LSU more than Les and, if so, thank Les for the favor.

Forever LSU.

I don't know many people who would walk away from the remainder of that contract

He'll have more than 6.5 mil by then. He's taking another job most likely, which would negate the buyout anyway. Les was smart to settle and get that $1.5 mil rather than get nothing more from the deal.

Clearly to help the buyout to get LSU's new OC and or HC. Not all heroes wear capes... They wear hats ??

This means Les has or is getting a new job soon.

Les made around $45 - $50 million off of LSU since we hired him in 2005.

He's not broke.

because he is finally going to accept a job

if he gets a job the pay is deducted from what he gets from us so he isnt losing anything by doing this, he most likely is getting a little bit more then the difference in pay offsets
