I find it alarming that even after watching the feeble attempt by JJ to imitate a competent qb especially the last two games of the season Miles still commented that loosing him might limit the offense!
I mean any reasonable person could see the offense could only improve with JJ being gone!

And he's done fellas. Did best I could, hope I helped those of you who couldn't tune in.
Did anyone ask him why he was so unprepared for bama after he said on national TV that he would "love" to play that team again. I didn't want to play them again and it should be obvious now why I didn't......I didn't trust our coach when it comes to picking a QB.....

Yes and he admitted he was wrong. The game plan sucked, personnel choices sucked and he admits it was his decision.
I don't really know what more some people want the man to say.

just read the cliff notes. i'm satisfied with what he said when it came to he and the coaches taking responsibility for the play calls. Sure we would have liked to hear him answer the QB question more out-right, but he did what he always does and thats protect his players.

College football fans have not forgotten the fact that we were 13&1, the best record in the NCAA last year and if you are rooting for someone on our schedule you'll hope that we don't find a good QB and use him properly next year. As much as I pulled for Lee he was good when he wasn't looking over his shoulder. As soon as jj was back in the mix, our offense became stagnant and that was the fault of both miles, lee and jj. jj isn't a team player nor a good leader but has tons of physical talent, lee has a nice arm and quick release but shies from contact, didn't take over as the leader of the team and had pedestian numbers numbers at best. I know you guys remember the Sat. afternoon in 2008, we were undefeated in the top ten and uga was visiting. we get the ball at the 35 yard line and lee thows a pic six and the shite hit the fan for 2.5 years, until we won 11 again last year. it aint that bad bitchs, we are getting ready to have great qb play and we have the players to get it done. do we have the fans?

sorry....i'm not talking about JJ or Lee anymore. Remember when everyone was saying they can't wait til this season is over so they don't have to talk about it anymore? well there ya go...

No he didn't. They showed up with a gameplan that wasn't executed largely in part to the 6 + NFL players on the other side of the ball
Georgia Southern put up 21 points and about 20 first downs on that future NFL line-up. You would think the "GOAT" could at least get a field goal......

He admitted he was wrong. What more do you want from the guy?

If I burn your house down will it be alright if I just say I made a mistake and lets forget about it?? A stretch but the same analogy....
Posted on 1/17/12 at 11:34 pm to Choctaw
Yea I know it must be hard for even you to talk about your beloved JJ after he shite the bed the last two games in a row! Nuthing like costing your team a national championship though I am sure u agree with JJ and his I made good decisions with the ball statement

Damn, man, relax. I'm simply fed up with the people that for a week have been crying for him to:
A. Have a press conference and talk about what happened. I'm in this group.
and
B. Give him credit for having said conference and admitting he messed up.
C. (this is where I'm fed up) Now that both of those things have taken place, it's still not good enough for some "fans." I really want to know.... what more the man can do?
That's all I'm saying.
You don't have to make personal threats.

Maybe many are still concerned/frustrated that he would still after JJ played horribly (which was not out of character for JJ) that we would miss his versatility in 2012 and it may limit the offense!
Him still thinking that doesnt concern you birdman?????

I didn't make any threats, I don't know where you live and could care less. I have been one of Les's biggest defenders in this neck of the woods for the last 4 yrs.
But sometimes you have to draw a line on what you will defend. His condescending replies on his "call-in show", his never saying why JL/ZM didn't get a chance to take the field in the biggest game of my life, leaves me and a lot of other people disappointed.

He admitted he was wrong. Can you not read?
Some of you freaks still think it's Jan. 9. It's mind boggling to the thinking here lately.

I know. I've seen your posts before and have always agreed with them.
To be disappointed is one thing, it's certainly understandable. But we are an awesome team, make no mistake.
We were outcoached and we lost. He admitted it. Give him credit for doing that.
Posted on 1/17/12 at 11:45 pm to la_birdman
Uhh his quote was going into next season the loss of versatility (his young son jJ) would limit the offense can you not read? If he was admitting fault with playing JJ why would he lament not haveing him for 2012!
Posted on 1/17/12 at 11:47 pm to Rudy40
sigh.....
Here's a news flash for you. JJ nor JL will be at LSU next year.
Ok?
The guy admitted he was wrong, his staff wasn't prepared.... so you're going to do..... what? Piss on him for the next 8 months?
I don't follow this thinking.

Understand that JJ wont be back so my question is that it doesnt concern you that he said today he is concerned with that losing the qb versatility (JJ) will hurt the offense next.
Do you honestly think the loss of JJ will do anything but help the offense next year and it doesnt concern you les thinks loosing JJ will hurt the offense. Did u not watch the last two games? How could loosing jJ not help the offense

Absolutely. I'm glad JJ is gone. I am.
Don't mistake me for defending Miles with being an advocate of JJ. I defended that kid for way too long and his performance in the game combined with his post game comments did it for me. He's the first Tiger I will not follow after his time at LSU.
I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. That's all.
