Always have, always will Rickdaddy. I doubt some of them will ever get over the mental damage Miles has inflicted upon them. I have noticed that you can get loads of upvotes just by badmouthing any of the current or former LSU coaches. Absolutely amazing.
It would be hilarious if it weren't so pathetic.
You get labeled a Miles defender of you simply state facts about his tenure.
There are posters that hate him so much that they will shite on the accomplishments of the last decade just to blast miles.

Its amazing how being out of work for 6 months means no one wants him.
A national championship coach that would come at a discounted rate because of the buyout wasn't the best coach available to any teams. That should tell you how well he is thought of as a coach. Maybe others in the know realize he didn't the results a great coach would get with the level of talent he was blessed with at LSU...you love facts so just go check out how many players he put in the NFL and tell me if he truly got the most out of the talent he had to work with.

I was glad when he left also, just don't understand all the attacks.

He was justly fired.

He is 63. Again, show me all these 63 year old coaches getting offers from major programs.
Youre crazy if you think he wouldnt get hired if he were 50-55. He has been more successful than his predecessor at every stop and has one of the best resumes in cfb. He is one of the most accomplished HC in sec history.

Nick saban is the greatest coach ever with by far the most talent in cfb and HE LOSES TO AN INFERIOR TEAM EVERY YEAR. Please explain how a lesser coach losing 2-3 games is this huge underachievement.

MILES ACCOMPLISHMENTS WITH SAID TALENT
No program beat more ranked teams.
No program had been ranked in the top 25 more weeks.
Top 3 p5 win loss record
As many top 5 finishes as Saban, Mac, and Dietzel combined.
7th best win % in sec history.
#1 ooc win % in sec history.
He took that talent and had one of the 10 best tenures in SEC HISTORY.
He was fired for not keeping lsu at standard HE SET.
I'm still waiting for this list of 63 year old coaches getting offers from major programs.

I didn't play football
York telling me he would have coached without playing?
That is with any sport. Not even brain surgeons make what les is making this year. Your point is invalid

He himself might be a better coach but doesn't make him a better head coach and he won't be that until he admits his mistakes or proves otherwise.

I'm just here to confirm the usual Miles thread hijackers showed up as expected

The truth is Les Miles was never a good coach period. Had he inherited the LSU job from anyone other than Nick Saban, it would have been self-evident from the very beginning.

LSU made miles...miles didn't make LSU
Posted on 4/4/17 at 9:31 pm to Space Cowboy
Best team he ever had was 6 years after Saban. Just saying.
Posted on 4/4/17 at 9:38 pm to burdman
Let's just say Miles followed Dinardo...does anyone think LSU has 2 national titles?

tRant should be worrying if his successor can get LSU in 2 title games in 7 years, instead of wallowing in hate.

Les lost his edge but he's far from a con man.

LES MILES:
quote:
"I’m probably more comforatable today than I was when I left LSU, & I was certainly more comforatable in my last years at LSU than I was in my first years.
The 2-loss 2007 championship allowed me to play it safe the rest of the way & not put much thought into utilizing the unique talent I was entrusted with, because I knew they wouldnt fire me no matter how poorly I coached for at least close to 10 years after the 'chip.”
(Les-speak translation)

Mostly comments about how bad of a coach Les Miles is. Les would probably run circles around everyone ITT coaching ability.

Yet you are smarter than a major college football coach? Your mom too? Did either of you get a degree from a well respected university?

York? Who/what is "york". Come back when you can string a coherent thought or two together.

I would think that means more people dislike these coaches than what you and rick think. Just because you two want to paint miles in a positive light...which is certainly your right...doesnt mean that the majority of fans have to feel the same way.

Stand by it all you want...fap to it for all I care.
I asked the man why we had so much trouble developing QBs...for which he just stood there and smiled. I then followed up with asking why we couldn't diversify a little on offense to keep up with the Jones'. At that point, one of his flunkie entourage shooed me away. Again....no answer from Lesticles. He knew I wasn't making small talk.
Believe it if you want or not IDGAF.
The fact is, if the man said boo to you...you'd shite down both legs. Not sure why people like you are scared to talk to coaches....or think everyone is or should be. They put their pants on one leg at a time just like I do.
Yeah right.
I can just see you, bleary eyed, barely able to stand, "Hey Lesh, shay how you caint make quar..quar.. baeck compete passh?"
Nothing like a little Dutch courage to make you coonsasses feel brave.
