He just moved up a notch. Take Meyer off the list.

So...

Leaving the stadium shaking my head in bewilderment after beating Tennessee because we screwed up a 2 minute drill so bad that we confused the other team is not fun. It's not fun leaving the stadium after beating McNeese by 2 scores (oops, we scored with less than a minute left to win by 3 scores). It's not fun leaving the stadium after UNC was a dropped pass in the endzone from scoring 21 unanswered 4th quarter points to beat us.

I'm sure it was not fun for Bama fans to walk out the stadium after Saban lost to UL Monroe or after they blew a 24 point lead.

I'm sure it was not fun for Texas fans to walk out the stadium after they had lost 5 home games (4 in conference).

I'm sure it was not fun for Florida fans fans to walk out the stadium after losing 3 in a row and 5 games overall.

I'm sure it was not fun for Oklahoma fans to walk out the stadium after losing all those BCS games.

See I can do that to.

Only difference is we won those games you did not have fun at.

Yeah, bout as funny as you saying Bama would make LSU look like 1-AA football program.

Maybe you should worry a tad more bout what you say and less bout what others say, huh.

The problem for some is that they have less and less to bitch bout when it comes to LSU football results so they come up with "it wasn't fun" or "it wasn't dominating" in order for them to push their failing aganda.

You know the chit is weak when you have to start talking "bewilderment" in wins as opposed to " bewilderment" in a loss.

Bama and Florida, now those must be 2 really bewildered ban bases, huh.

I swear, sometimes I think we have some of the most spoiled, poor mouthing fans in college football.

If on December 25, 2004 somebody told you, the next LSU coach will only have 1 SEC title in the next 6 years, would you have been happy with that?

yes, EXPECTING to win the SEC more frequently is not reality... it's a fricking tough league dude... go figure.

Who has more in that period?

2010 - AU
2009 - Bama
2008 - UF
2007 - LSU
2006 - UF
2005 - UGA

So, 2 by UF, no more than 1 by anyone else -- including LSU.

Miles is even or better head to head with the coaches of the teams that have won it. So if you think anyone else is dominating or supperior to Miles and LSU -- the record does not show it at all.

Tough league -- play well and have a good team -- you could be 3rd in your division... FACT.

Correct. The SEC is very tough, expecting an SEC Championship every year is not realistic, however, expecting to be in contention for the SEC Championship every year is realistic. I am very glad we won 10 games, but we won them in spite of Crowton and Miles is not doing anything to correct the obvious issue that our offense just isn't getting the job done.

Digging further -- who even PLAYED in the SEC championship since 2005.

2005 Georgia - LSU
2006 Florida - Arkansas
2007 Tennessee - LSU
2008 Florida - Alabama
2009 Florida - Alabama
2010 South Carolina - Auburn

UF = 3
LSU = 2
UA = 2
UT = 1
USC = 1
AU = 1
UGA = 1
AR = 1

Seems like 1 time PLAYING in the SECCG over a 6 year period is pretty good, more than that is VERY good.

How many players did we have on the All-SEC team? I think I read 7 and that it was an SEC high.

Seems like coach is doing pretty good there to me?

I hate when people say we won in spite of Miles. Is Miles the best game day coach, no. But he is in charge of recruiting and getting these guys to campus. He does a great job of preparing them to play. He runs a clean program. And his players would run through a brick wall for him.

He has averaged 10 wins a season over 6 years. At some point you need to give the guy credit. Not many coaches can say they average ten wins a season and the ones that do make just as much as Miles.

This thread is not about Crowton's salary it is about Miles. Miles is correcting it by getting ZM.

My point was that Miles is being paid elite money for LSU to compete for championships, but LSU will never compete for championships with Crowton.

Last I checked Crowton was OC in 2007.
