re: Les Miles Audio on QB controversy...

Let me start by saying I've been a JL supporter this year based on the way he's played this year and feel that because of his play, he's earned the starting job. I've also been extremely critical of the way, in the past, Les has let JL drive the offense down the field and then replaced him with JJ as soon as they were within 10 yards of the endzone. I personally feel that isn't fair to JL. It almost seems as though JJ is being "given a pass" (sorry for the pun) with his mistakes and that JL is being held accountable enough for both of them.
That being said... I'm not the coach of the LSU Tigers. I don't have a close personal relationship with Les, the coaching staff, or either one of the 2 QB's in question. To anyone that thinks otherwise, Les has never been the type of coach who will inflate a player's stats in order for notoriety. Not Lee's, not Jefferson's, not Ware's.... not one player's stats. I also feel that while there may be a bias (there is at least some in almost any decision that's made by any human), at no point, has Les Miles made a decision that was not in the interest of winning a football game. If he's making a call, he's doing it to put LSU in the position to win that play and subsequently the game.

He said what every head coach should say about a situation like that. He does not need anyones permission to start a player.

Jarrett Lee studies his play-book instead of going to class...
right....
Posted on 11/17/11 at 12:18 pm to BeeFense5
It is apparent that Jarret was cutting class. It is also true that Les will never call out a player publicly for discipline unless he has to(i.e. Jordan's arrest). He would not tell anyone that Jarret was being punished, nor should he. Having said that, he will play the quarterback that gives us the best chance to win.

All the shite that was let go on this site with the whole Shady's saga and yet you never managed to bitch about any of those threads. In fact you piled on in most. Yet, a simple tweet about Lee and your panties get all wadded up? Ridiculous......

So you can't think of a valid retort so you resort to name calling. Gotcha chief

Any various mistakes which don't lead to a positive play. Making a poor pass, not fully completing his progression therefore missing an open receiver. I'm not saying JJ has played bad, I'm saying that he's made mistakes. At some point, all our players have made at least some mistakes this season.
I do find it interesting that you attack my biased personal viewpoint after I blatantly rebutted it with a much more fair and balanced assertion.

Why didn't you respond to my post on the other page? Since you think Lee's playing time is a conspiracy, are teammates also participating in this conspiracy against Lee?

BOOM! Les made it pretty clear there. He's been saying the same thing in a much nicer way all year, but some people have to hear it stated more abruptly in order to process it.

1. i didn't "attack" anything. i asked a question
2. the reason i asked is because i didn't know if you were referring to on or off the field "mistakes". Because Lee is being "held accountable" for his off the field mistakes.....same as JJ. something you're failing to see.

Just sarcasm making light of the qb controversy. I actually think that's pretty funny.

How do you get that the post was "sarcasm making light of the qb controversy"?
You have to want to see it that way in order to
