Hey man, sorry, Im just being real. Street information and internet gossip is just out of control.
Bottom line, Miles had a contract with LSU. Those terms and conditions are based on many many factors.
The biggest one, is maintaining a win percentage IN CONFERENCE and OVERALL WINS. But its the Conference percentage that dictates the contract and his job.
He lost. He wasn't meeting the terms.

Ok, just to be serious and no bull shite. Winning-est Coach.
Come one, His conference win percentage for his career was only .55%, his contract stated he had to maintain a .70 in conference wins.
His conference win percentage for the last 5 seasons was .48%...
Do people not realize, he WAS NOT FIRED FOR BEING THE WINNINGEST COACH.
He WAS FIRED for not winning enough CONFERENCE GAMES. His Contract was solely built on that ..
Loading up on NON COnFERENCE games does not make you a good coach
One of us is really bad at math.
quote:
His conference win percentage for the last 5 seasons was .48%...
2011 8-0
2012 6-2
2013 5-3
2014 4-4
2015 5-3
28 wins. 12 losses. 28/40 = .70
NOT .48
If you add in 2016 where he was 1-1, you get:
29/42 = .69 Still not .48
Take out the '11 season, since for some reason Miles haters can't stand it, and leave in 1-1 in 2015 and you still get:
21/34 = .60

I want to know what conference winning percentage you think makes someone a good coach.

Les is a cool dude and a great man. He did good by us, but it was time for him to go. This happens to about 99% of football coaches. I want him to do well in whatever he wants.

bullshite. Miles SEC Conference record was 62-28. That's a winning percentage of .689%.
quote:
His conference win percentage for the last 5 seasons was .48%
More bullshite. His winning percentage for his last 5 full seasons at LSU was .700%. His record was 28 wins and 12 losses, during the 2011 to the 2015 seasons.
If you were to use the 2016 season and go back 5 years to the 2012 season, his record was 21-13 for a winning percentage of .618%.
You don't like the man, that's obvious. But just dreaming up shite to post that isn't true just makes you look like the stupid arse that you appear to be.
But you be you, reel (dumb) tiger1.

What a dumbass...
Yes you include 2016 which is why he was fired.
Plus you didn't include he career conference stats. You only included from 2011..
Do it right child. Im sure your math teacher has had to tell you this over and over again.

WOW Earl Keese, you truly are retarded.
Now lets look at this..
21-13.... 13 loses out of 21 games. The .618% is LOSES you fricktard. .618% of 21 games were losses.
Which means, .48% were wins.
He didn't get fired for .618% he got fired for .48%
Please tear up your degree if you have one.

Well i even quoted the part where you said the last 5 years.
So.... I did it exactly like you said and it proved you wrong.

Dude, you keep calling people dumbass and retard, but you're doing basic math all wrong.
Let me help you.
Just remember the quoted parts are from your own posts.
Ok.... 21-13 does not mean 13 losses out of 21 games.
It does mean, there were 21 wins, and 13 losses. So...
What do we do. Well, we take 21 and add it to 13. We get, 21+13= 34. You can use your calculator to check.
Now that means there were 34 total games. We want to find winning percentage, right?
So 21 wins divided by 34 total games, looks like: 21/34 and equals a winning perctange of .62.
21/34 = .62
That's how you find a winning percentage. You should try it.

Look dumbass, You claimed that Miles winning percentage was 48% during his last 5 years at LSU. How many fricking conference games does each team in the SEC play every year? Do you even fricking know?
Each and every team plays 8 motherfricking games a season. In your retarded little scenario, you want to use the 2012 to 2016 seasons as Miles last 5 even though he only coached in two SEC games during the 2016 season.
So lets do the fricking math together...2012 thru 2015 covers 4 seasons...at 8 conference games per season, that totals 32 games....Miles coached for 2 games during the 2016 season...that brings the total number of games Miles coached to 34 games.... LSU won 21 of those games, which means they lost 13 games. That comes out as a .618 winning percentage.
Where the frick did you come up with LSU only playing 21 conference games during a span of 5 years? You're as dumb as the day is long.
You should change your name to reel (dumb) tiger1.

To those of you Les lovers, just think about what he is doing to the university you love if he is sitting at home collecting a paycheck and not doing anything other than lying about his interest in coaching jobs. Do you support that? If so, you are the problem too.
Or Les could coach at Tenn and pull enough recruits from his LA connections to make LSU's life just a little harder. Certainly more than just your way to look at this.
Regardless, I believe we would be at least 9-3 with Miles still at LSU. Could have fired him this year, had Coach O and have more money in the bank.
Your type of fan is certainly part of the problem also.
