All I was saying is we can actually throw the ball down the field now and Mett is money on the out-routes. Take away the penalties and turnovers and we're not even having this discussion. That's what Les is talking about with the execution.

So this upcoming stretch of murderous SEC games is where you break them out to start trying?

No. You break them out when you can execute them well.

Eddie George this morning on Sirius 91 mentioined that LSU is playing sort of lifeless and without energy.

i have eyes. i don't need a scumbag like eddie george to tell me shite. to say we were not excited about playing towson and actually think it was worth a breath is utter stupidity.

We've been making the same execution excuse for the last 5 years. Wake up people. Are you really that naïve. Good lord. Execution is taught by the coaches. So based on your execution argument then we've not had a team or quarterback that could "execute" these fricking plays for 5 years now. Maybe its time to change the plays or the idiots calling them.

I know what you mean, tigerdew. I'm frustrated, too. But the coach needs them to get the basics before he can put in a bunch more. They don't have the basic stuff down pat yet. It's disappointing, but true. Bummer for us.

Well everyone on this board "knows" that Miles is calling the plays...so are you suggesting we get rid of that "idiot".

You are a moron. Stop posting.

Most coaches in america could win with the talent we've had. You sir are the moron. You probably think obama has done a great job as well.

GrandDad: I have eyes too and watched the game, therefore I can't argue with EG. The reason they played that way doesn't matter to me, they should be better at this point in the season. Sloppy games will get us killed in the coming weeks.

There you go folks. What you've seen is what you're going to see the rest of the year. We just have to execute and stop turning the ball over. Get it out of your systems now rantards.

Tell the whole truth:

I agree with Odell Beckham (Jr.), or Zach (Mettenberger) that there are some parts of the playbook that haven't been touched yet. That's for the future anyway. It never was going to be for those games that you have under hand."

What does concern me a little is the idea of not getting to certain plays is exactly what happened in the BCSNG. I say make sure no bullets are left in the gun after a game.

Oh yeah you are right, we only won 19 out of the last 20 games we have played in. Won the SEC championship a year ago and played in the BCS National Championship game and won the BCS Championship in 2007. I wish we would win more often.

You are probably one of those assholes that "boo's" our team off the field.

You not only just showed how fricking stupid you are but that you are a compelte areshole.

Anyone that believes anything about personnel, game strategy or overall coaching is an utter fool. If Les tells you he loves his wife, take it to the bank. For ANYTHING football-related, just find another thing to do instead of listening to what he says, because he says nothing of note unless it is beyond obvious (like TM off the team)...

Our schedule has been soft up until this upcoming weekend (Florida)

I want to believe that Les let us look horrible playing Towson to save parts of the playbook we haven't gotten to yet.

Sure we played sloppy, but we still got the win. Yeah we needed to utilize are starters all game, big deal. Yeah it sucks and Copeland got injured, but what were we going to do? Air out our entire playbook for SC, AnM, Florida, Bama, and Arkansas to see? NO. Just run some slants, a few deep passes, conservative run plays... he knew it would work... it did... got through the fluff of our schedule with minimal damage and with vanilla play calls. Now it's on to the real stuff with minimal film for our opponents to study.

All he has to do is find a legit OC to teach them how to execute it.
