So just so I understand the post, Les is smart for continually employing a terrible offense to go with our great defense? And adding an adequate offense to our great defense would result in more losses?

We might be the only team in the history of college football to be geared toward downhill running/smashmouth football, and not have a playaction package.

I simply do not understand it.

Les is smarter than you'll ever be and here's why... Many of you are scared. I understand. Doc, you are the biggest expert who has never done anything with life except criticize. Congrats on that. Is our offense good? Half of it is great, the other half, meh. Seems like it's been that way for a while and somehow, "miraculously", Les is 2-2 against Nick Saban. When he wins in 2 weeks he'll be 3-2. And you babies will still cry cause momma didn't warm the milk up fast enough. Boo-tiddly-whoo. Go buy a hoodie or a hat with a crimson A on it if that's what you want. Adios. Yes he lost the big one in grand fashion, but he also went 13-0 and won the SECC. Who else has ever done that for LSU? Is Les the best coach in the history of college football? No. But he's ours and like it or not, he's a winner and he's still a hell of a lot smarter than you...

You really shouldn't show your ignorance. Les is 3-3 vs Nick. Regardless, I'm pretty sure you've been a douchebag your entire life. "Boo-tiddly-whoo"? Who the frick talks like that?

You think UF would have beaten us in Tiger Stadium??

UF's defense is just as good, if not better, than ours.

We couldn't move the ball on them, so yea

I appreciate your thoughts and optimism. The only hole is this crazy like a fox description does not,add up to us laying an egg in the Championship game last year. A program like this plays to win the big games not come up short. The USCe win is not as sexy with the way Fla demolished them and a loss to Bama in two weeks leaves us with a 2 loss team that was suppose to be better offensively and ready for a legitimate run to the BCSNCG. Hope you are right and hope we win but only time will tell.

I have no problem with anything your saying and I agree. But if you want to BEAT a team like Bama, you must be able to be a modest threat in throwing the ball. LSU is absolutely no threat to throw. If they want to ever win another national championship they must find a way to do this.

I don't ever remember seeing a team show so little respect for its opponent as A&M did yesterday. They were playing the entire defense within 5 yards of the line. They basically were playing a goal line defense on 80-90 percent of the snaps. A&M didn't have the horses to pull this off. If Bama does this and LSU can't hit a few deep passes Bama will name their score and LSU will have 0.

You obviously are pretty certain that LSU has no chance against Bama.

The little faith types have been counting LSU/Miles out for yrs and for yrs LSU/Miles has been making them look silly.

One would think that:

"82-19 overall, 20-2 in our last 22, 12-1 in our last 13 SEC games, 7-1 in our last 8, and Top 10 NR since 11-2010."

the above would give rise to some faith in the LSU football program by the naysayers, but nooooooo.......

The little faith guys in 2010 pointed out that the LSU passing game of 139 yds a game, the total O of 339 yds a game, and scoring of 25 pts a game couldn't possibly stand up to the Bama O that was putting out 440 yds a game and 35 pts a game.

We all know how that worked out. Much the same as last yrs regular season game.

Who knows, maybe this yr the naysayers will be right and Bama will beat us in the regular season. I'm sure that will be seen as the end to LSU football as we know it.

All he does is win. There are plenty of programs that would love to say that.

Worked the first time, got our arse handed to us the second. Time to change the game plan I say.

And in the last eight quarters of regulation we've scored how many TD's versus Alabama?

Honestly man, you don't have to score td's to win. You get points for other things.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I do not think anybody cares about high scoring offenses, right now I just want one that is serviceable in all phases

So the undefeated team we had last year was not geared to beat bama in the NC?

but, but, but we need to fire him and hire the west virginia coach (a genius) or the tcu coach (another genius). they have high powered offenses that are creative.

it's hell to be disgusted with your offense tho.
