Since LSU baseball and college baseball in general is dominated by white players, SFP wants nothing to do with it. However,an opportunity to diminish Miles and rave about Saban gives him a chance to increase his post count.

and i'm not saying miles is a bad coach. he nutted up and fired his BBQ buddies

hes a great recruiter, like saban. miles generally breeds a good atmosphere on the football team (assuming we don't have another year like last year chemistry-wise anytime soon), while saban outright pissed off many players. our good juniors generally stay under miles, while many left under saban (i dont' think this is a negative on saban, but it's a positive for LSU)

i just hope last year finally causes miles to nut up in season (namely SEC play) and we start to play agressively from start to finish, on offense and defense. we put ourselves in a lot of holes with his "run run run and play soft big10 defense" philosophy. i also hope all the cancer and negativity from last year has been cleansed. and i hope his sub matters become more rational this year finally.

games aren't won by yards, they are won by points FWIW. That defense was the first to give up 50 twice...

also, miles mishandling QB recruiting and the RP situation left us with a black holle

Miles is the only LSU Coach to ever sign 2 #1 ranked QBs. LSU has the #1, #8, #7 & #16 on the LSU's roster. What's a "Black Holle"?

After Hallman's 4th qtr decisions in Auburn in 1994, Saban's decision to keep Mauck in that Florida game in the 4th qtr up 36-7 knowing full well he didn't have a QB ready for SEC play may be the dumbest game decision by an LSU coach in the last 50 yrs. No one can predict an injury but that was just stupidity.

Without good coordinators, we see how Miles' units perform.

as long as miles hires good coordinators and leaves them alone, i don't care about this

mike gundy had a better year last year than miles ever had at OSU, if memory serves

so we should we hire gundy?

Miles did hire Gundy. Another great hire by Les, to build up Okie State's program.

You again fricking crack me up..........LSU has scored more TD's and had more points on the board than any team Saban ever squaded.......

He had inconsistent qb play so he dumbed the offense.......so fricking what......Miles handled the qb carosel just as careless as Saban did with JR and Flynn and Randall.....both offenses did the same thing.......

Our D has been championship caliber in all but 1 year in Miles tenure! No matter how you try to paint the picture the #'s don't lie.......

did they even finish in the top 20?

he did win at Tennessee for the 1st time since like the 70s.

they only finished int he top 25 b/c of their name

He did win against the defending national champs and Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow

UF was not good that year. they lost 5 games. their O was good, but their D was pure shite

He did blow out ND in a BCS bowl game.

ND was simply not that good. bad D and an overrated offense that put up stats against bad teams and a bad schedule

He did win at Auburn for the 1st time in 7 years.

are you really claiming a win over that horrible AU team last year as a big win? they fricking blew last year and had almost no ofense

what was the ppg comparison b/c 2001 and 2008?

let's not forget that we were still rebuilding in 2001, while we were not in 2008

Slow it doesn't matter what they finished in the top 25 or what your opinion of the teams were...........THEY ARE SIGNATURE WINS BECAUSE OTHER GUYS COULDN'T DO IT.....

Saban couldn't win at Tennessee or Auburn.......Miles has.......FACT

In LSU storied history all those games were pivitol to a TOP 5 finish!

That's right TOP 5 finish..........11 win seasons.........consecutively finishing 5 then 3 then 1.........

All those wins are signature victories.

Now STFU.

which derailed our team

we went from hanging within 2 TDs of UF and UGA for most of the game to almost getting blown out by troy and getting blown out by ole miss at home

But you used Saban beating an 8-5 Florida team as a 'top win' in another post in this thread ?

when did saban (or miles before 08 for that matter) get to face a 5-6 win AU team on the road?

I can't believe he thinks those games aren't pivotal moments in LSU history.........

I mean we've only won at Neyland like 5 times and he is blowing it off as if it was a Tennessee Tech.

2008 Auburn is not pivotal either to LSU or Auburn's history

we had the most talented team in the nation and UTenn was a borderline top 25 team playing it's shitty backup QB

You can't argue with this guy, he is practicing to be a lawyer. He'll be great at it too, cause he never shuts up & he's always right.
