this guy cherry picks his stats and doesn't include all the information.

He mentions how Fournette is really just running behind a great O-line, which may be partially the case, but he runs for 40% more yards/carry than the rest of the team does behind the same line. Devontae Booker, who the writer compares him to only runs for 33% more yards/carry than his backup that he mentioned in the article.

He said that cook is beating Fournette in every category except yards/game, but the only category he is really beating him in is yards/carry. Fournette has him on total yards, TDs, and attempts.

LF7 is the best player in CFB right now.

Name me a team that would not salivate to have LF7 on their roster, including the same teams mentioned in the roster.

Of course LSU has other backs that can pound the rock. They recruit that way. The article makes some good points but the premise is wrong.

Nolan Ryan had more strikeouts and more no hitters than anyone ever. He pitched at an incredibly high level for many, many years and was a shoe-in first ballot unanimous HOFamer for Baseball's Cooperstown museum. However one... ONE.. writer did not put him on the ballot.

Actually, it was 6 writers. Nolan Ryan doesn't even have the highest percentage, that would Tom Seaver.

His reasoning is stupid and I won't go over the Cook comparison outside of the Boston College game because I have twice already.

What I want to know is where was all this crap when he was running off 3 straight 200+ yard games?

Where was this nonsense about LSU's other RBs being able to do similar before the South Carolina game when Fournette pretty much turned the defense into putty after being a battering ram for the first half?

Where was this nonsense when Cook had 54 yards on 15 carries against BC? You can't look at those crappy arse running teams BC has played and tell me they are the legit best run defense in the nation. They've played two FCS teams for goodness sakes (Maine and Howard???) plus Wake Forest, Duke, and Clemson. Clemson and Duke are mediocre running teams and Wake Forest is one of the worst in the country.

Then when people say he hasn't faced real competition, he runs for 180 and 2 TDs averaging 5.8 ypc against a top 10 defense.

Booker doesn't average that for the year, and Booker plays on a team where 2 QBs are the next leading rushers, and one of them is averaging 4.5 ypc. How is this guy going to use what his backup averages, when his backup only has 11 carries on the year? No, use the actual backup, the QB who has 48 carries. I mean look who Booker is playing. Cal? Texas ran all over Cal. Oregon? His QB did a much better job than he did. Fresno State? You mean the same team Ole Miss ran over? Booker isn't close to Fournette.

And Crouch win it over Randle El who was a truly fantastic college player. There was no comparison between those two.
