Probably still feeling the effects of getting knocked the f*** out on the KOR at the end of regulation.

I've said it all year, it's stupid to have your leading tailback returning kicks. It's too easy for him to get lit up and potentially hurt.

Agree. Also, has he ever demonstrated any real superiority in that role?

That said, it was either going to be four straight runs or four straight passes.

If the first down play would have been caught we'd have been fine. But once we got to 2nd and 10 we had to start throwing.

I've seen this said so many times, and it is wrong. Should have ran on first down anyway. Even with the drop, they should have ran on second down.

I didn't want to go into OT, because I knew we'd frick it up. That's why I was glad we didn't against Ole Miss.

Why was he not in backfield on first down after the Yeldon fumble

Probably because of the Ole Miss fumble at the goal line. They felt more comfortable that Magee would just take what the defense gave and go down. Fournette was more likely to push for more yardage and expose the ball.

I think he got hurt in the KO return. He looked dazed when he got back up.

if we'd have given him the ball and he got stuffed (again) you'd have been bitching about boring play calling

Yep. Guaranteed.

Anyone else notice he was the very last player to leave the field? He just stayed and stared at the endzone for a good 10 minutes after the game.

Why did we have to start throwing? We still had 3 downs to make 10 yards. Run the ball, pick up 3 or 4 and make the next 2 downs manageable.

I think they were afraid to have the run stuffed and have a 3rd and long.
