I totally understand BoH. Even though i think JJ, and he thinks JL, should be the starter we both pull for whomever is in the starting lineup at the QB position bottom line. Opinions on whom the starter should be has no bearing on your fandom. If a fan were to say i hope we lose if X Quarterback plays, then that would be a bad fan. We may disagree on whom the starter should be but i know he has the same passion for LSU to win as i do. I know that if JL starts i will not say damn this sucks, i will still yell out a GEAUX and wait for my TIGERS reply all the same. The backup QB seems to always be the next coming of Christ when a Starting QB seems to be failing. I just hope this season starts and a leader emerges no matter who it be.

Yet another useless, meaningless, thread to join the other 100 on the same subject!!

I expect that they will both play in meaningful series.
No one is going to go all year without having to sit a few series or a game or three.

So has the ULTIMATE vote been decided? Does my vote for Shep count?

I honestly don't care what the name on his jersey is as long as he shows the ability to consistently move the chains and doesn't make bad decisions.
I'll be the biggest cheerleader for whoever starts the UNC game, but the other guys needs to get meaningful reps in that game so he'll be ready if/when called upon later in the season.

jlee is not an sec qb. he will transfer to texas tech, they play touch football there, he will be good.

Just toss a coin. One is just as good (or bad) as the other. pound that rock!!! That is their best chance.

Nonsense. Jefferson starts and immediately shows his experience and superiority. Lee will not start or get meaningful snaps unless there is an injury. Do not wish for this.

anybody but Lee. b/c he has proven and re-proven to be a terrible tackle football player...
Posted on 8/1/10 at 6:26 pm to Acreboy
i'd rather Lee because even though he throws picks he doesn't take sacks.

The subject of this thread is just picking a player to lead the offense
I shall enter the voting booth, hold my nose and vote for Jefferson.
Somebody needs to step up this season and show some leadership on offense. I want an end to discussions about disappointing quarterbacks.........but only if the discussions are not needed.
By the way, what are the vote totals?
