So who is the best QB? Jefferson? frick no, Jefferson takes stupid sacks and only knows how to run. The times he hits some nice throws it's against weak arse teams.

So true, LOL---I like this guy...LEE RULES!!!

I'd like to see Lee do well too, though lets not forget he doesn't handle pressure well and makes way too many mental mistakes. He does throw a nice ball, but we already saw that wasn't enough.

JJ is doing well, glad Miles sticks with the better QB.

if only David Carr got this kind of love from the Houston faithful, where would the Texans franchise be, today?

7-1 and a #9 ranking sucks and it is time for a QB change. What in the hell is Miles waiting for? 8-1? or even worst, an SEC or BCS championship?

(And I'll be cheering for whomever is taking the snaps at LSU)

Is this a true or false ?

Jefferson doesn't get that respect from defenses.
This the most accurate opinion in this entire thread. Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas will stack the box and make Jefferson beat them with his arm. I dont care how many tries we put Sheppard and Holiday in the backfield, we will not see success until we force defenses to back off the line of scrimmmage by throwing the ball north and south down the field.

So JJ taking sacks and under-throwing reciever resulting in picks is not considered mental mistakes.

But, he tends to wind up kind of like a centerfielder

Have you ever watched Tim Tebow throw a pass? Now that's a long windup.

Its 2009, Not 2008, he has not thrown a pick six this year. You cant go on last years stats for this year...If so, Charles Scott should have like 13 TD's instead of 2.

You say JJ windsup like a centerfielder and I say Tebow winds up like a centerfielder too. Is it a bad thing or a good thing?

Well Tebow is not that highly rated as far as NFL potential goes. But, Tebow is not an option for us so he is not relevant to the discussion.

Tebow is not a great thrower, but makes up for it with superior field vision and the ability to move away from pressure

Hmmm. You brought up Troy Smith as a comparison, so I figured I could bring up Tebow.

All I'm saying is he is being completely taken out of the season is rediculous given the fact t hat Jefferson has not lit it up. I think it is pretty evident watching Lee this year for the short time he has been in there, he is comfortable in the offense, reads the defenses, hits receivers in stride and has better command of the field and sees the field better because the game has slowed down for him from experience of last year.

He should look better playing in garbage time with no pressure on him. When will yall get it? If JL was all of a sudden that much better, don't you think he would have been starting by now?
Or is it that the only thing he has is a strong arm? Maybe we've nearly seen the best he will ever be and haven't even scratched the surface with JJ yet and we're still in the top 10.
JL cracks under pressure.
By the way, Jefferson's arm seems to be just as strong as JL's or stronger.
I am more than happy to have JL as a backup until he's called upon, until that happens you're just pissing in the wind with so many meaningless threads about it.
