Yeah and he constantly makes faces and shruggs his shoulders. It was sorta annoying!

David Carr plays in the NFL. Lee will never even be lucky enough to be on a practice squad for an nfl team

If this is the case (and I'm not saying it is), then his psyche is entirely too fragile for him to ever be a successful big time college QB ANYWHERE.
I don't know that that it so. Sometimes it just works that way. He bore the weight of last year a lot. It had to effect him.
I think he will be fine with a change in scenery.
I feel for the kid and would love it if he came out for the Ole Miss game and lit them up for 5 TDs...i just think for him HERE he is ruined.
Nobodys fault...it just happens.

Guess Miles doesn't understand it either.

"I understand the history in this stadium with Jarrett Lee," LSU coach Les Miles said. "It seems like to me that this man is out there doing what we ask him to do just as hard as he possibly can and I think he should be encouraged."
"A certain feel that the fan base gave him is not proper. That's not the way it should be," he said. "He's not perfect and dang it, we didn't play well. It wasn't all his fault. It just seems like we are ready to jump on him and I'm not ready to."

He is not competent to play college football in this division, perhaps not at all.
Please LIST YOUR QUALIFICATIONS as a coach so we can all be enlightened.

You may be right...but why is that...
could it be because of the constant beat down by ignorant LSU fans ????
The kid has character and balls to endure this crap by some of the so called fans who prefer to beat him and LSU down, just so they can bring up JJ.
IMO, they are both LSU players,
They BOTH need supporting
I am not ready to write JL off yet..
I have evaluated and training people for years, not everyone develops at the same rate...of course
There are some ignorant people in here that think it should be so.

I think Lee is David Carr
Lots of talent...
Loads of potential...
But ruined by his experience playing for us.
He looks scared on the field...watched Carr do the same thing his final year with the Texans.
This could be true, regardless, he IS MESSED UP MENTALLY. PERIOD.
