You're talking about the vanilla game we won 35-7. Who the coaches choice to run 6 different RBs instead of giving our pounding starting RBs 35 carries as usual. Please! LSU wasn't in no rushing threat.

Nobody disputed this, although I disagree with the samples. You're stuck on this 1st 5 games thing because it furthers your JJ sucks agenda. I'm happy we're scoring more points, but concerned the ypc and ypp is down vs lesser opps than last year. Why does this piss you off so much?

Running Jefferson is overrated. Against Alabama ( good Defense) last season he ran the ball 7 times for 27 yards, one run was for 11yds
Jefferson also threw the ball 13 times, 10 completions (76.92%) for 141 yards. Jefferson also threw a devastating block that sprang Peterson for a 23 yard run to the Bama 3 yard line.

Lee on the other hand had -12 yards rushing and went 4 for 7 passing for 55 net yards, 47 of which came on one play.

They tried to run Jefferson 14 times against Arkansas gain 34 yards averaged 2 yards and lost that game.
LSU only had 100 yards rushing in the game. Jefferson completed 16 of 27 passes (59.26%) for 184 yards.

have not stated I want QB A or B to start, I frankly don't care and Miles will start who he starts. My point is neither is great and we have a pedestrian passing game, that is what it is at 101 in FBS football. We will not know what it would have been if JJ started, either. I do not care how LSU wins, as long as it wins, but neither am I watching games going, "this offense is awesome this year" as it is not. Improved, yes, but the D is as well. You guys keep pointing to JL as the only reason for offensive improvement in the passing game yet you have no idea what the other guys, be it JJ or Mett, would have done.

You do realize that JL is ranked #51 in the nation in passer rating/efficiency...and that AJ Mccarron is ranked #64...right? You guys get so caught up with total yards...you forget about efficiency, TD/INT ratio...etc...8/1.....scoring 38 a game...etc.....i guess just not quite enough wisdom to understand yet. Oh, before you say anything, JJ last year had an efficiency/passer rating of #100 in the nation.....so Lee is only 49 spots ahead of him so far in passer rating.....2 TD's ahead in scoring, and 20% ahead in red zone scoring...lol......You think your Wisconin team will be explosive if they get to play LSU in the NC? lol...I'd be willing to be that lsu gets AT LEAST its averages.

Ms Jefferson...we have already read your posts asking us to look at JJ's big three games last year, Bama, Ta&m, and Ole Miss. We established that ole miss had the worst pass defense in the nation.........and also established that JJ had 7 consecutive games without passing for 100 yards. so 3 out of 13 decent games....and oh, might I add, a qb passer/efficiency rating of 100 last year out of 119........oh btw, might I add...Lee saved your son from losing that game, along with the tenn and fl games last year.

Again, ranked 100 in passer efficiency last year.....and yet you talk about 3 games like it makes up for all the horrendous ones...and one being against a terrible pass defense.

I just have to weigh in on this. How in the world could any sane person want do disrupt what the Tigers are currently doing? We have an efficient offense that sustains drives and scores points and wins ball games and a qb who is a pretty good passer. Are we just stupid? This JJ thing has the potential to ruin a potentially dream season.

When u have a 2 qb situation means u don't have 1! I hope JJ the best but I sure hope it don't screw up our Offense, with JL having to worry about being pulled by Les.

dude we played the second string from NC, Vanderbilt, Miss State, WV, and Tenn.....I think the only team that finished in the top 25 is State.....these were not good teams....you guys like to talk yards...what about all the teams that have not played a team in the top 60 this year yet? JJ = 100 passer rating last year, 14 points less per game. JL = 51 passer rating this year, 14 more points per game, and 20% better in red zone.........we always said just give us an average qb and LSU can win a championship....

Maybe...but more likely their last name ends in Jefferson.

We haven't faced a decent D yet and I don't know if JJ will have to be featured extensively. We'll get a glimpse this weekend.
If we face a D that shuts down the pass and run, I see zone read and option in LSU's future.
You gotta do something besides lay down and die like UF.

Comical !

Lee doesn't have to run. Completed 64 on 108 attempts 793 7 TDs 1 int 3 sacks in 5 games. Just imagine how many more he has if the dropping stops. Lee has as many Passing Tds than Jefferson had all last season. I don't really care if Jefferson comes in for certain plays but I'm just saying our RBs are more than capable getting the yardage that we need to keep producing 30 + pts a game.

What the frick is wrong with you dude?
You are really pushing the envelope.
How do you think the LSU players would feel knowing you just wrote that?

Ms Jefferson
Gosh that's clever, and oh so fresh. No one has ever used the "poster must be a relative" joke before. Thanks for sharing your wit and wisdom.

quote:

ole miss had the worst pass defense in the nation
bullshite. Not even in the bottom 10%.

quote:

JJ had 7 consecutive games without passing for 100 yards
More bullshite! This post is bullshite even though he was splitting pass attempts with Lee in many games last year. Lee got more pass attempts than Jefferson in three games last year, and virtually the same number of pass attempts in two other games. A QBs passing yardage tends to decrease when he splits pass attempts with another QB.

quote:

...Lee saved your son from losing that game, along with the tenn and fl games last year.
bullshite trifecta! We've debunked that myth many times. But, hey, don't let the facts stop you from repeating your bullshite.

quote:

and yet you talk about 3 games like it makes up for all the horrendous ones...and one being against a terrible pass defense.
bullshite for the cycle.

Compare Both QBs' Last Five Starts:
Jefferson has more yards per attempt, a higher completion percentage, and a higher passer rating.

LSU rushed for more yards per carry.

Lee had less net yards per game.

Jefferson - Last Five Starts
53 of 86 (61.63%) for 788 yards; 9.16 ypa; 5 TDs; 2 Ints; Rating: 153.3
45 rushes for 169 yards (3.76 ypc) 2 TDs

Lee - Last Five Starts
64 of 108 (59.26%) for 793 yards; 7.34 ypa; 7 TDs; 1 Int; Rating 140.5
4 rushes for -22 yards (-5.50 ypc) 0 TDs

BTW: Lee's completion percentage for the last five games of 2011 was 40% with a QB rating of 82. He has greatly improved this year.

One reason I like JJ is because he is strong and physical. Laugh all you want, but it's true. Go look at his numbers that moffitt posted on twitter during summer camp.

Oh and I love JL

This is not a fair argument until we see how much JJ has improved with a new OC and qb coach. Some of you are going to really look like jackasses when he shows how goodnhe can be. And I am not saying he will, but I am smart enough to know to reserve judgment. And he WILL play.
