Should be a great regional and super-regional. I would not pitch Skenes against Nichols.

Nicholls still has to win their tournament. I'm not so sure that they will.

The way this is set up there is an SEC team in every 8 team group, so theoretically you could have an all SEC Omaha.

1-16 only has A&M as a 3 in the UT regional, they won't get out of there. Wake has an easy path.
2-15, Florida should sail through. That 15 regional will be interesting, with UConn as the #2 at Boston College. If they can't draw a crowd for that, there should never be another regional in New England.
3-14 matches Arkansas and Bama. That's a tough series.
4-13 looks like it's laid out for LSU.
5-12 Auburn has a tough draw, going to Stanford for a super. ECU and UNC could both be dangerous there.
6-11 I truly wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee (#2 in Miami regional) makes it through.
7-10 looks like it will be Vandy hosting South Carolina in the super, if I had to put money on it.
8-9 is where Kentucky (9) is, I suppose 8 Virginia is beatable. That's kinda an uninspiring group, I suspect whoever gets through will be one of the 2-and-BBQ teams in Omaha.

McNeese’s Rogers is 83/18 K/BBs in 94.2 IP with 2.00 ERA. Opp BA is .210
McNeese threw Grant Rogers (12-1) tonight in an elimination game victory. He is showing out right now and threw a 9-inning CGSO tonight.
That was his last outing of the season unless McNeese wins the Southland tournament without him from here on out. If they pull it off his next outing could likely be against LSU since every projection keeps putting the Southland champ as the 4 seed in LSUs regional. Would rather anyone but McNeese cuz I think we’d have to expend Floyd in the 1v4 game if they’re the 4 seed and Rogers is on the mound for them. Kid is hot and he doesn’t give up walks. None thrown in 9 IP tonight either.
