Lane Kiffin is a steely-eyed missile man

Borrowing a quote from an underrated movie. But think about this....

1) Tomorrow, there will be more media coverage at this game than any other game the rest of the year. That may include the national championship game...unless LSU is there playing against Ole Miss.

2) The LSU Brand has never been bigger. Yes, there was swag around 2019 but before then, and since....not like this. Go to a beach right now anywhere in the US. LSU tents are up and flags are flying proud again. Pass someone in the airport wearing LSU gear, guarantee you hear a "Geaux Tigers" again.

3) The free publicity for LSU. Every sports outlet in the country is talking about LSU. And, lots of national news casts are interested also. There will be millions watching the game tomorrow...most hoping to see LSU lose mind you. But, when LSU waxes that fake tiger a$$ tomorrow, the Tigers will be the talk of the town for 2 more weeks leading up to the Ole Miss game.

4) The enticement for the recruits. Come to LSU. Look at the hype. The swag. The Brand. Talk about motivation.

5) All of the focus this week has been on the pro player mess. The team hasn't had to answer to anything. None of the Jayden Daniels #5 commotion. No NIL mess. No talk about playing Ole Miss in 3 weeks. Just focus on the game and practice while Lane took the bullets.

I don't know. I may be reading too much into this. But, if things work out this season the way I am sure most Tiger Fans are hoping, we may look back at this week as the turning point in the program.
