Most of the hotels near the stadium only take reservations 9 months out

How many hotel rooms does Green Bay, Wisconsin have?

This sounds like a logistical clusterfrick.

Right. They draw primarily their TOWNFOLK.

Univ. of Wisc is 2 1/2 hours away, and Baton Rouge is over 1000 miles. You gonna shack up with the townfolk?

Somehow i doubt that Wisconsin officials had LSU fans in mind when they scheduled this game in Green Bay.

Understood. I wonder if they had those in Madison in mind, though, either.

This is akin to LSU playing a game in Monroe.

What the heck are 7,500 students going to do in Green Bay if it is a night game. That sounds like pure trouble for the city already. Badgernation.com

guess as a season ticket holder I am not very happy with the set-up for this game. The article below states that UW will get only 32,000 tickets for the game plus 7,500 for students. Those better be only available to season ticket holders and not the general public or I will be even much angrier. That is still not enough to appease most season ticket holders. I guess that means the Packers get the other 40,000 minus the allotment to LSU.

This type of game should be a reward for season ticket holders and not just considered a road or neutral site game. What the heck are 7,500 students going to do in Green Bay if it is a night game. That sounds like pure trouble for the city already.

I guess if there's a saving grace, this could likely be the 'jump-the-shark' neutral site game.

If you can't find a hotel in Green Bay, Appleton is the way to go simply because College Ave. has a lot to offer in terms of dining and nightlife choices. The Broadway District in Green Bay is pretty cool too, but I think Appleton is just slightly more vibrant. We stayed in Appleton when the Saints were up there a few years back for the Kickoff game and it was a good time. The people were super friendly

Glad to see this series take place and in neutral sites as well. Imagine being a college player from Louisiana getting the chance to play in Lambeau Field. Amazing.

Will be interesting to see who our starters will be that far down the road. Most of the current roster will be in the NFL!
