I think Cyrus K. has received PT for Bama. Probably has something to do with it.

I hope this is just about his lack of playing time and not something more serious.

Playing time can/will get fixed.

No need to speculate any further until I hear different.

That being said, his body language during the season sure hasn't let on that he was unhappy.

Why in God's name would anyone have wanted to be on the field for them?

My dad, who is a former player at LSU, goes to most every practice. Says Collins isn't ready, he said he is wide eye'd and next year will be his.

Bottom line is if he applies himself NOW and in the off-season... LSU is almost a lock at starting 2012 at #1. He will get all of the exposure in the world and has a great opportunity to become LSU's next great at OL.

If he thinks he would have went to Bama or AU & started it would be the same situation. Actually, he may have started at AU but it would have been a red mark on his resume' with the way AU's offense looks like crap.

Bottom line: Hang in there La'el - LSU is the place for you to be. Place your negative energy into the weight room & the playbook. Les will find a way to promote you if you do the right thing.

well a guy like montgomery didnt even play/travel with team hus freshmen year. then he gets hurt for most of last year. now hes back stronger than ever.

more guys can learn from a guy like that. put in the work and you will see the field.

what about a jc copeland or hilliard. both highly rated and both see majority of snaps at fb. neither played fb in highschool.

no one says he has to be happy on the bench, but if you thing he was going to take pt from a sr guard ur mistaken. he alao wasnt gonna come in and unseat faulk at LT. put in the work and make the 2 deep. our depth is what sets us apart, just like bama.

can't learn the blocking schemes

Occham's Razor. The simplest explnation is usually the correct one. Doesn't matter how physically talented he is if he can't learn the blocking schemes. That would make sense for a true freshman OL.

Maybe he's lazy at practice or not picking up what the coaches want him to pick up.

But you try your best to keep the best OL LSU has ever recruited at the school.

I'd say eric andolsek, alan faneca, nacho albergamo, todd mcclure, kevin mawae, lance smith, george rice, andrew whitworth, stephen peterman, ralph norwood, ben bordelon, ciron black, etc. all disagree.........

Recruiting and potential mean jack shite.

The sooner hyped crabs learn this, the quicker they can get better and earn the praise they crave.

He has an opportunity as long as he keeps his mouth shut and acts like a man.
