What’s up with the brown stuff on his left hip. Keeps touching it after every pitch.

It’s the stuff he uses to improve his grip.

Everyone does it.

Most aren’t as egregious as the guy from Gonzaga last year.

They don’t have substance checks in college baseball? I thought the only thing you can use is rosin?

The field is turf… it would produce black streaks not brown stuff

Is it a dirt mound? Sorry, I'm listening, not watching. Many of those turf fields still use a dirt mound.

It’s a turf mound. It doesn’t matter though. He can go pick up some dirt from wherever and run it on his pants if he wants to.
