I want him to stay at Ruston High School so he can keep a pipeline of recruits going from Ruston to LSU.

there is so much more to college football coaching then teaching on the field. Many top tier players don't coach college football due the time commitments. it is a grind, and it is a worse grind now with the transfer portal.
I bet Williams would be a great coach, if he was willing to dedicate the hours and hours it would take to be one of the top 10 assistant coaches on the team.
Analyst could be easier if you work a deal with the head coach, bc some analyst work their butts off depending on where they are in their career.
NVM the travel the recruiting coaches have to put in.

They made their strength and conditioning coach the HC. Once again keeping it in house.
