This shouldn't even be debatable
How O handles will show a lot about him and his integrity.
This entire specific situation was a black eye on the university in an already clouded time.
Send the right message O and suspend him from several games - wouldn't even be mad if it's the whole season.

Suspended for what exactly? Lying? Seems like he should be dealing with some legal ramifications possibly. But, what would the official suspension even be called?

He should be suspended 1-2 games. Nothing serious, but he 100% deserves punishment.
You don't do what he did and try to screw police officers doing their jobs. That's fricking bull shite. He's a good kid, but he deserves to suffer the consequences for a bad decision, just like everyone else. He'll learn from it but he should definitely be punished.
