He was really underrated in HS. I could see it.

We missed him period. He brought an element to the offense that nobody else on the team can replicate. The drop off to Taylor is a big one.

Gilbert wasn’t much of a blocker either (hasn’t he moved to WR?). He was basically Sullivan with mental problems.
Moss was such a good blocker; I am concerned that we also lost Carter this year - I think we overcorrected having 3 fullbacks and 4 blocking TEs to having none of either. Half of NFL teams devote 1/53 of their roster to a fullback - we should still carry one or two.
ETA: I wonder if Moffitt or Stephen King (I know) could step up as pure blockers. Wouldn’t mind seeing Turner at FB in short yardage.
