I love ferguson!!! This will be his breakout year! Logan and Ferguson have that elite burst off the ball.

i don't know why people are saying they can't play DE because they are to small. Some smaller de in the NFL
Jason Babin PHI- 6'3 267 18 sacks
Robert Mathis IND- 6'2 245 9.5 sacks
Cliff Avril DET- 6'3 260 11 sacks

Super Sonic Sam- 6'4 245
Keke- 6'5 240

both could easily add more weight with their frame, and they are both taller and weigh as much as Robert Mathis

Keke played at 227, per a post here. There is no way he will play DE in a 4-3. Sam is possibility.

Specialized players are gaining traction in the league.

ETA: did Jordan from Oregon make it on the big board. He is 20 on some big boards. 6'7" 245 - seems these guys are finding a spot in the NFL.

Mingo weighed 225 at West Monroe. So what you heard is false

It is very common for players to drop weight in season - I know he was listed at 240. What it says is Mingo isn't a guy that is going to put on weight easily. He isn't going to be 260 and stay there.

Playing at 227 and weighing 225 a few years ago are not mutually exclusive. Personally, I'm more skeptical that he weighed that much in high school, than that he weighs that little now.

Don't sleep on Bennie Logan. He was more disruptive late in the season than Brockers was. And imagine if Brockers has a banner year. That would just increase Logan's stock, IMO.

If Mingo and Montgomery each have around 10 sacks, I imagine that they are both a lock for top 10 draft picks. They both will have stellar workout numbers.

I would sway towards the Ducks beating USC...only because the Ducks will be deeper and the game is in November.

Darren left for the money. CK and his high school coach tried to talk him out of it. He was mooching a lot - so, I would guess it was a money issue.

This defense could be more dominating if they played an attack style of defense like Saban employs, thus, making Mingo and Montgomery look even more impressive on the draft boards! Chavis is a good DC, but I just don't like that style od D, never have. It reminds me of Pelini all over, in fact it's just been a continuation of what Pelini does.

Yeah, I hate the really awesome D we've had since Chavis arrived. Dude needs to step it up IMO.
