Kiper is clueless, its a weak QB class but Nuss isnt anywhere near top 5 QB...
Hell at the rate hes regressing he might want to go back to HS and start all over.
Being a coach's kid... he cant read a D, throws alot of passes into bad coverages and doesnt seem to be a leader. That not a good Combo

Man, I don’t see that AT ALL. #5? Must be a light QB draft.

I for one hope so, don’t understand all the Nuss hate.
He must be the best we have. Don't know what fans are expecting from the second best.

Nuss has a live arm but he never seems tough on the field. It appears that he is afraid to take a hit in the pocket in order to deliver a pass and he seems afraid to run.
He just plays soft. I can't imagine him being a productive starter in the NFL without another year in college. He has a lot to work on.

Well the guy ranked #6 must be really horrible……

There is zero chance he declares. Zero.
He is horrible and he knows he is. It basically looks like he just has a good arm and might be better off getting his real estate license or something.

A QB coach would have to teach Nuss all new technique. And how to read coverages.
If only Garrett had a QB coach in his family. Oh...wait a minute!

I wish him all the luck in the world. Bye bye

Bad year for qb's if Nuss is 5.

I have to really question Kiper there. Nuss has an arm that can make any throw on the field, but he is pretty inaccurate by today's standards. More times than you would expect, even when given great protection, he either sails passes or puts them in a spot near the ground where they aren't even catchable.
He has really bad mechanics with throwing off his back foot when pressured (leading to many interceptions). He either takes long sacks or fumbles too much as well due to the backpedal moves when hit and he rarely takes off running (making him a really easy target). He may very well work on his game and get significantly better, but taking him as the 5th QB in the draft would be a major risk of a pretty high pick from what I see.

to be fair our O-line has been shite for most of the season
Oline was perfectly fine pass blocking until Chester got hurt.
I think Nuss was sacked twice in our first 7 games.

Well that would be TX QB Ewers, of the #3 ranked team in the nation, and also the best team in the SEC. Because they have an OLine, WRs, and a coach capable of running a pro-style offense
LSU has none of that

Nuss has 3 more games to impress.
If he can throw up a 8td/2 int over the last 3, that would be enough to improve his worth.
6td/6 int and that might scare the NFL off.
