Franks didn't have the chest to play in Death Valley at night anyway.

Going to get down voted for this, but whatever... I have met him and personally know his mother. The kid actually loves LSU and was really looking forward to playing in Death Valley. He is even asking to ride with the team just to experience the atmosphere. I am sure the noise would have gotten to him, but I think the excitement of playing in DV would override the fear factor a little bit.

As for flipping to Florida, I am sure the uncertainty of Miles and Cameron had something to do with it... as well as some personal reasons
