Some thoughts for your consideration:
- It will be LOUD. If your daughter is averse to loud noises, then you'll want to have ear plugs or head phones or the like available.
- It will be PACKED. Trips to the rest rooms, concessions will be at a premium. Just something to plan for.
- There will be PROFANITY. I've long conceded the frequent he!!, dam*, shi&, etc. IMO, the f-word and mf and GD are out of bounds. I've also found our fans almost without exception are respectful of younger ears. If someone has turned into a sewer-spewer you can always point them out to security. Never had to, but security in TS has never been better. In the 70's there were fights, bottles thrown, more fights, etc all in-stadium. Not so much now.

I've taken my children when they were as young as three to TS (mostly to 'lesser games but one of my children was at UF '07 when he was 5). I've trained them well. My daughter knows how to cheer (make noise when the opponents are on O) better than a lot of Tiger fans. Only once (OM '10) did I have to confront another fan.

Hope you both have memorable (all pleasant) dad-daughter time together!

Since she's a female she should be OK -- now, if you had a BOY you might have to worry about the teabagging predilections of the opponent's supporters.

It's a hell of an experience for a young'un. There's just certain spots you'll want to avoid bringing her.

Started bringing Lithette #2 to Tiger Stadium when she was 6 it was Bama.Thought something had happened to her in the Bathroom at TS while I waited outside. Walked around to make sure there wasn't another exit.

I see no problem with bringing your thirteen year old daughter to the game, so long as you recall that Tiger Stadium is an adult venue and that she will therefore likely witness a significant amount of adult language and supercharged adult emotions. The old bowl will be crackling with frenetic, electric hostility for that game, but most of that animus should be directed at Alabama and its smug supporters.

The students will chant, "frick you, Saban." Book it.

Of course. Good luck getting tickets if you do not have them yet. This may be the most expensive regular season game ticket in the history of college football.

Thanks Sally for pointing this out for Halifax. My seats are in the SEZ UprDeck so I can usually distract my children if it becomes evident what the students are chanting.

He'll have to weigh this concern against where their seats are.
