All you morons blaming JD for 100% of this are clowns.

OL got dominated.
Rushing game was non-existent.
WR's dropping balls hitting them right in the hands. Specials teams muff/terrible decision to run kickoffs out. Secondary sliced up like a hot knife through butter.
DL little pressure.
And last but not least coaching...atrocious.

This game not all on him. Going forward, he’s hit his ceiling and it’s just what we saw last year. No improvement. You have to consider what Nuss could do.

People are not blaming JD 100% for the loss. People ARE stating that Nuss has more upside and that it didn’t look like JD progressed at all. I think that is a fair assessment. All of the other problems ; O-line, wrong players being played over better ones, and bad coaching have been stated as well.

A QB that makes better reads and releases the ball quickly mitigates this.

Rushing game was non-existent.

A QB capable of making throws beyond ten yards consistently and accurately utilizing the entire field opens up the run game.

WR's dropping balls hitting them right in the hands.

Nabers and Lacy are both on record last year talking about how they prefer a Nuss thrown ball.

Inexcusable. I really don’t know what they were looking at in practice that made Kelly say these issues were fixed.

The only thing anyone was honest about this off-season. I think they improve as the season progresses.

Forcing Perkins into coverage was an all time coaching blunder that Kelly appears ready to double down on based on his comments.

All of the QB traits you're talking about are elite NFL level QB skills. JD aint that...Nuss DEF aint that. JD gives you a scramble option...that needs to be worked into the game plan more intentionally.

Most of what you said is true, but Nuss will not fix the running game. Our backs are mediocre. We haven’t recruited well at RB and it shows.

Rushing game will never be what it could be with JD at QB. Stats might be good for him, Rushing wise, but not the RB. His lack of downfield passing really hurts the RB running game.

Lack of good running backs and o line play hurt them.

Someday I hope LSU fans will realize the OL/Rushing game cant work if the other team has 8 defenders stacking the line.

No excuses needed; Florida State was simply the better team.

This is cope. Cope fueled by the Alabama win last year when the SEC was really weak.

Could be that he didn’t feel the pressure throwing to and being defended by his own players. Therefore he lets it fly. Then freaks out when it’s a real opponent. I feel like we were watching a scared QB.

Or maybe coaches arent going to go into an interview and say their players are mid and havent improved. What's he supposed to say?

I don't care how good they were. LSU should not have lost in that fashion and literally quitting in the 4th quarter on defense is unacceptable.

Daniels is all in on being risk-averse. He’s not going to take what he feels are unnecessary risks until their back is against the wall. That includes anything deep, anything over the middle and anything into tight windows.

It was probably more that they were completely gassed.

The offense constantly getting taken off the field will do that.

I hear you, but Kelly seemed genuinely shocked by the performance. That in itself is terrifying, coming from a HC.
